Another Apple paid partner

Macrumors comments or questions that defy the quality of Apple products are removed or reclassified so that you don't get to publish. They rig tech sites to become their advertisement machines and even use people to make comments on them and create fictitious reviews and conversations is ridiculous. Macrumors is just an advertising machine. I suggest going on YouTube and look for real influencers who are not paid to brain wash you into feeding the biggest monopoly in the world. Let alone iPhone 13 being a scam to steal your data. Stay away from this site.

Biased moderator, puppet advertisement

Biased moderator, some product censorship, even they was legit product, they will deleted immediately when user review posted product which MR doesn't like, too much relying contents from other sites (they not geek enough to dig information with their current staff)

Due toxicity of forums, many power user moved to others sites because current forums seems doesn't relevant when talking more complex Macs topics albeit they still have very useful threads and great people there.

The old MacRumors is very great site, but sadly today MacRumors, especially forums is no more than boring adults place searching for admiration.

Lastly, critical feedback more often ignored, e.g changing giveaway article to US only giveaway, this was addressed from long time, but no response . They made huge advertising traffics from non US international reader, can at least they should give us chance?

My Pi-Hole, router, even my hosts files now is blocked all MacRumors domain so I can reduce burden of moderator staff no need to blocking my IP address anymore because I am already banned all MacRumors domain to not touching my network and devices.

Thank you for this last 20 years journey, from site aggregator to just merely advertising puppets. I think that's very cool achievements.

Great Buyers Guide resource

Great Buyers Guide resource. Good discussions and articles. Very bad moderation that plays favorites and restricts many types of discussions. I’m not saying that’s atypical but it’s sad that they can’t achieve the higher heights the very smart community is capable of.

Good Mac rumours site For following Mac news and rumours about products.
The community is nice: lots of nice discussions but some bad moderators that play favorites with biased policies. Just avoid talking politics there if you’re any sort of conservative or libertarian or not on the left and you’ll be happier.
The buyers guides are the star there. They chart when Mac products are updated and give you good advice on when to buy and not buy to avoid being stuck with last generations gear.

good, but...

It can be a good place to get information, but the moderators play favorites on what they allow and don't allow people to say. And they are quite clear in their FAQ's, don't like how we moderate? Tough. Leave. LOL. So yeah, if you get a mod that wants to single you out because they don't agree with you... good luck. Be prepared to be banned. My advice, stay clear of the main article forums. You can occasionally find people that know what they are doing deep in the product specific forums. Oh, and never ever contradict a mod. Can't win with this group.

Being BANNED for stupid reasons, Admin/Mods have no clue.

Admin staff of their forum do not know how to moderate properly. They BAN people out right for being in the same IP range as someone else thinking it's multiple sign on accounts. My friend came over and sign on to the site (on my wifi), and we both got banned! And after contacting their staff, they refused to release it without even discussing it. I know a ton of people this has happened too and the admin staff are power hungry people. Sad to see that site go down hill after being on there for years.
