Issue Resolved Professionally – Thank You

I had an issue initially regarding a reservation deposit, however I was contacted directly by the dealership’s director who handled the situation in a very professional and understanding manner.

The matter was taken seriously and resolved promptly, and I can confirm that a full refund of my deposit has now been received as promised.

I appreciate the way this was handled at management level and the effort made to resolve things fairly.

Thank you for resolving this quickly and professionally.

excellent

I recently bought a Mercedes E-Class from Magna Motors and had a great experience. The team were professional and helpful throughout, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

A big thank you to Alex, who looked after us from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy, taking the time to make sure we were confident with our choice. Even after the sale, Alex went out of his way to help with any questions we had and assisted with the warranty, which we really appreciated.

The car was presented in perfect condition, and we’re absolutely delighted with it. Highly recommend Magna Motors — and especially Alex for the excellent service.

DO NOT USE THIS TRADER !!!!!! BE WARNED

I am now also in line taking these muppets to court . Please please please do not trust any positive reviews they are fabricated and not true . I would advise you to search out the car you want from another trader Leo is a complete liar and the sales team are useless and they will not honour ANY of the warranty so do not bother asking them . Rude because they can get away with it . Customer service is a joke please read the reviews and take your chance .

Great car

I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews but my experience was very positive. Bought a BMW 1 series. Put a deposit down and picked it up on the agreed date. Staff were friendly and no complaints from me.

Ignorant and just ignore

Extremely poor communication, very difficult to obtain refund

We placed a £100 deposit on a vehicle after being told it would be ready to view on a specific date and that we would receive confirmation and a video tour that morning. No confirmation was ever provided.

Despite calling twice on the agreed viewing day and being told someone would call us back, we received no response. We then emailed to request a refund of the deposit. That email also went unanswered, as did subsequent follow-up emails from us.

Several days later, we were told over the phone that the refund had already been authorised and would be received by Monday. This did not happen.

It was only after we sent a formal Letter Before Action that the dealership responded within minutes and processed the refund shortly afterwards.

The contrast between eight days of silence and a 30-minute turnaround once legal action was threatened speaks for itself.

Based on our experience, we would not have confidence in this dealership to handle a transaction properly and would not recommend them.

Negative post-sale experience

We had a very disappointing experience with Magna Motors.
We purchased a car from them which unfortunately developed a fault shortly afterwards and had to be returned. While we understand that issues can sometimes happen, what followed was extremely frustrating.
We were left waiting 5 weeks for a full refund. During that time we had to make numerous phone calls, send multiple emails, visit in person, submit formal complaints, and even issue a formal letter giving Magna Motors 7 days to make payment before we would begin court action. The stress and time involved were completely unacceptable.
In the end, we only received the refund on the final day of that deadline — and only after turning up at Magna Motors in person again.
I do want to acknowledge that Joe from Magna Motors, who took over my refund case in January, was the only person who consistently replied to me and actively chased the matter on my behalf. Without his involvement, I’m not convinced this would have been resolved when it was.
Overall, a very poor post-sale experience that has left us with zero confidence in recommending Magna Motors

‼️ AVOID ‼️

I would strongly advise people to stay away from Magna Motors based on our experience.
We purchased a vehicle that became faulty within a day of driving it. The car was sent back for repair, but when it was returned to us it still had the exact same fault. Because of this, we rejected the vehicle within 30 days of purchase and followed all the correct procedures to return it.
Despite doing everything required on our part, we then had to wait 5 weeks to receive our refund, all while continuously chasing them for updates. The process was extremely frustrating and far more stressful than it should have been.
The only positive part of this experience was Joe, who genuinely seemed to want to help us get our refund. He went out of his way to communicate with us throughout the process, and we appreciate his efforts.
Unfortunately, overall our experience was very disappointing, and we would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Magna Motors

Looks like there are lots of unhappy customers taking you to court. I myself, has joined that line.. fake reviews, rude staff, NEVER call you back, do NOT pay off your part ex finance, instead you are left with still paying your ex car whilst it’s still sitting on their dodge forecourt absolutely blindsided by total dishonesty. How the hell is this place in business? You have p**** me off no-end and I WILL make dam sure that you are exploited and named and shamed… I think you’ve messed with the wrong person here 🤬😡

Dangerous vehicles sold here , avoid these cowboys like a virus

I viewed a vehicle and agreed a price . They guaranteed a mot and service that were later found NOT to have been done .They also tried to force a grossly inflated warranty which can be had for half the price elsewhere .

Within 24 hrs the car electrics failed and it wouldn’t start . They sent two “ cowboys” to fix it but they brought “ no tools” asking if we had any .?!?! Incredulous .
They got it started by bump starting it and “guessed” it could be at least 14 things but “couldn’t be sure” . The car was returned and they had it for no less than six weeks and it still wasn’t repaired . Their offer was “ you take it in the non roadworthy and Mot failure state it’s in , you get it fixed and if we agree on the price of the repair we might pay for it” !!!
The car was not accepted back , and under the credit consumer act 2015 we demanded a full refund . The refund was denied breaching legislation and so legal counsel was engaged .
They put the car back on auto trader which again under legislation is illegal as they have not issued a refund and so the car was not legally there to sell.

They literally are the very definition of the poor reputation second hand car dealers have .
Auto trader were informed of their illegal behaviour and removed the advert under fraudulent behaviour .
We are assured by ojr solicitor we most certainly will get the money back and then we will be taking “furthers legal steps” against them . This is not over until we are satisfied !!

Word of advice STAY CLEAR , STAY AWAY .AVOID AVOID AVOID this dodgy car dealers and don’t be impressed by a website , there is no substance to this shabby outfit selling vehicles that are not fit for purpose . This car was a mechanical and electrical dangerous money pit that six weeks couldn’t resolve , that in itself tells a story

I would not buy a car from this car…

I would not buy a car from this car dealership as they are cow boys and don’t check the cars over before they sell their cars as had lots off problems with the car as only had it 3 months and there was missing parts from the engaine and wiring that had been fitted in the engaine properly and the turbo needs replacing and had oil leaks which they said did not have I’ve been to proper dealership that told me this information as they would not cover any costs to repair the issue or give me refund I would stay well clear off this company

DON’T BUY DODGY COMPANY

Huge WASTE of time and massively unprofessional. I gave a phone call regarding one of their vehicles and made it known to them a mechanic is going to be checking the vehicle the next day. Next day comes and they tell the mechanic that this vehicle doesn’t exist and isn’t on the site my mechanic then called me and told me there’s no vehicle here and made me look like a fool despite me informing them yesterday. VERY DODGY in the sense of vehicle was due to be checked and now has vanished from site. Clearly they didn’t want the vehicle to be checked by a professional. Not only that but I wasted my money paying the mechanic and coming down. At first they denied any knowledge of the vehicle even existing and then after a few phone calls they confirmed it exists but no longer on site for reasons they didn’t know. How do you not know where your cars are? The guy on the phone told me what do you want me to do about the vehicle if it’s not here, I can’t do anything when I was told it was there ready for a test drive now that I informed them a mechanic is coming down it’s no longer there, doesn’t make sense. I will warn anyone thinking of buying a vehicle from here, don’t fall for it, it’s a TRAP and a very dodgy COMPANY.

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague, purchased a mercedes GLC,finance company paid out but when came to delivery date the car didn't turn up,when asked where it is I was told the car has a gear box fault, but will be delivered the following Tuesday.
Checked in on Monday was told rudely it's not happening then no further communication.
Finance company are now pursuing the company for the funds as they don't have any money.

‼️⚠️AVOID this so called “dealership” ‘MAGNA MOTORS WARRINGTON UK’ they are absolute con artists.

90% of the ‘good 5*’ reviews are left by the 2 co- owners, their sisters, family and friends.

This company was once called ‘Elvi Global’ and the awful reviews and court cases in this company’s former name is absolutely SHOCKING.

^^^ You can find this your self online through the GOV.UK website and also information about the co-owners.

They also claim “every car comes with a passed MOT and service”
YES a service & MOT done by a dodgy Albanian garage in a back alley in Manchester (who is also owned by one of the co-owners)

I truly do regret purchasing my car and it has truly taught me a life lesson to research HEAVILY beforehand.

So PLEASE avoid this dodgy corrupt company who will sell you a death trap of car.

I have warned you.
