I transferred money to the Turkish account and they transferred to my friend in Iran within a few days! Very professional

Total disservice
I'm very sorry to write this review, but I hope that it will help to improve their service that for us was a complete disservice.
I applied for the card 2 weeks prior our arrival, uploading my passport and I immediately specify that we were arriving on a friday. They wrote me back confirming that my document had been processed, that everything was fine and with a link where to confirm date of arrival, time of the appointement and Hotel.
I filled up the form and I also wrote an email asking kindly to be punctual at 9 am at the hotel because late in the morning we were taking a domestic flight to Shiraz. They wrote me back that everything was confirmed and I was really thrilled at the idea of using a card in Iran.
The problem is that they never showed up.
We waited for more than 30 minutes in the lobby of the hotel so we wrote an email asking for info and they simply answered saying that they were very sorry, but due to a problem it was impossibile for them to deliver the card. They had my email, they had my telephone number and nobody had thought of contacting me??? We wasted nearly an hour, and in the end no card??! I was furious. They didn't specify the reason so I don't know if they dind't come because it was a friday, but i find this behavior not at all professional.
Then they contacted me offering to send the card by post to my next destination: I was so willing to try the card that I accepted and they were going to send me the card in Shiraz for Sunday. But they contacted me again saying that on sunday it wasn't possible and it would have been in Yazd on Monday. Ok.
We receveid it on monday afternoon, too late to go to a bank to load it. On tuesday it was the Martyrdom of Imam Reza, all banks were closed. Then we went to Varzaneh and that particular bank doesn't have a branch in Varzaneh, so no loading possible. We arrived in isfahan on thursday at midday, but all banks close at 1 pm on thurdays. On friday everything is closed and so in the end it would have been ridiculous to activate the card for only a few days left.
What is even more ridiculous is that they were willing to ask me a fee of € 19 even after all this and only because I reminded them that when filling the form I had used a discount code they agreed to € 11.
The point is: how can you trust this company? If you are left with money at the end, can you really be sure that someone will come to give you back what is left on the card??!! After my experience I wouldn't be so sure!!!
What I can say after 2 weeks in Iran is that, for sure I would have loaded too much compared to what we have actually spent, so probably in the end it just worked good for us.
Mah card is very useful
Mah card is very useful, I used it during my travel in Iran. It avoids carrying cash and helps managing your budget. The operations are registered on the site almost instantly, making the expenses easy to follow. I strongly. recommend the Mah card.
I was very satisfied with the service…
I was very satisfied with the service provided. The card was at my hostel upon arrival and ready to be charged. Also upon departure a person was at the airport to meet and reimburse me.
The only drawback was, that I could only withdraw 2 Mio Rial per day.
Still I can recommend the Mah Card without hesitation.
It all went perfectly
It all went perfectly, from the meeting to give me the card and to charge credit on it, to the refund via Paypal (be patient if you decide to proceed via paypal, it took like 2 weeks).
You can use the card everywhere, which is very usefull (
This is a fantastic service
This is a fantastic service. The card was delivered to us on arrival to our hotel in Tehran, as agreed upon. We paid the amount we wanted in cash dollars and the equivalent in rials was immediately available in the card. The rate was good. We travelled extensively in Iran for 3 weeks and used the card all over the country in all shops, restaurants, for train and bus tickets and as entrance fees to sights. Only taxis did not accept the card. Having the MahCard made everything very easy. We also felt it was very safe. We had about 100 dollars in the card when we left Iran (Tehran). One agent from MahCard met us in the place we stayed and gave us the rest of the money back, cash in Euros. We highly recommend using MahCard.
Excellent service
Excellent service. Mahcard available and responsive 7 days a week on Whatsapp. My Mahcard was delivered to me at the Hotel on day 1 of my stay. Thereafter everything went smoothly until I left Iran again. The money leftover was refunded promptly with no chasing. Thank you so much!
Excellent
Excellent. Fantastic customer service, fast replies and happy to answer all queries. Very efficient- card and mahcell were at my accomodation ready for my arrival. Very professional service and really useful products during my travels.
Great product
Great product, great service, friendly people. So, when going to Iran get the MahCard! Btw, get the MahCell too!

Very good alternative to travel safer with out so many cash!
Thank you
Must-have
It's accepted everywhere, it's very easy to recharge it, there's no complication at all while using it. A must-have if you're traveling to Iran.
Amazing service!!
Amazing service!!! Highly recommended for travel in Iran. Makes it a lot easier than having to travel will millions of Rial notes or having to exchange money.
Recommendable, but....
I highly recommend MAH card and also the MAH Cell.
Two items of critique though:
1. I pay €19 as a service fee, on top of that you give me a lower rate than the market when I got the card, and you divide the remaining Rials on the card with a higher rate than the market. So, I got less Euros in return. So, you win 3 times. I prefer that you increase the service fee and gave me fair exchange rates.
2. MAH Cell only has reception in the neighbourhood of towns. In the parts in between the towns there is no reception for data, just phonecalls.
Great customer service and super easy…
Great customer service and super easy to use. It was also very convenient to use a card instead of carrying a lot of cash. ATM's are everywhere in Iran in case you do need to take money out but we never had any problems with anyone accepting the mah card. Highly recommended!
Must Have in Iran
My conact person was Ali. He was very helpful and always available for help via WhatsApp.
In Iran we arent able to use Visa or Mastercard, so this was the best way not to carry so much cash with us. The rate was honest and you can always see your acutual balance.
I think we will experience Iran completely different without this service. We had MahCard and MahCell (Portable WiFi).
I highly recommend this.

I went to iran from germany. Received it in the Hostel and charged it in the hostel. It was very useful around the whole country. Speedy support via whatsapp. Definitiv zu empfehlen!
GET the MAH Card - Highly recommended
Highly recommended to get the MAH Card for anyone visiting Iran. Cuts the hassle of having to bring along cash with since international credit cards are not accepted in Iran. The MAH card is accepted everywhere in Iran including small vendors, shops and cafes. Excellent service from the MAH card team and will certainly use the card again when I revisit Iran.
