blocked on first day using
I signed up for a new email account. Sent a couple of emails which I need to see the replies to ...but blocked out of nowhere! Looks like I'm not the only one to have this problem. Highly unreliable company, still haven't had any reply from them. AVOID
the free version is too limited ,
the free version is too limited ,, the premium version too expensive
Its lost its weight with adds
I have been a mail.com user for many yeare and its always been great, no issues. Yet they recently sold us out to advertise, and they are getting more and more Intrusive, bang in the middle of an email an add will appear. No control over them but alas you can turn them off quickly so they dont last, hence why im still using mail. For now.

So I signed up for email yesterday and was so happy, === especially because I would not have to view ads at every turn. I moved all of my important emails and wanted to sort them in their aliases.
Well they decided to block me for no reason!!
Please tread carefully. I now have to try and retrieve all of my information.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM MAIL.COM
I carried out a research on companies that offer the option of holding multiple email accounts, after reading reviews and the various websites that were recommended I choose mail.com.
I registered my details with them on the 1st September 2025 and proceeded to setup my new email accounts, this was straight forward and went smoothly. Once I setup the various email accounts I then proceeded to inform my contacts about the various accounts for them to make contact with me.
Then the problems happened with mail.com. They suspended my account and asked me to make contact with their customer support, this was carried out by filling out a questionnaire.
I then waited for a response which took 12 hrs, but I was shocked with their reply, informing me that my account had been permanently blocked and deleted as it had not been used for six months and the email addresses were being used by someone else. This was completely incorrect as I had only registered with them 14 hrs ago before their response, and when I setup the email addresses their website checked and informed me that the email address I choose were available. Not happy with their response I requested that they carry out a further review in their system as there was a major problem with their site.
This morning they got back to me informing me that they could not remove the block on my account and that they now suspect my accounts were being used for illegal purposes and in their T&C's they can carry out the actions they did, they apologised for any inconvenience caused but that was their stance.
Massively frustrated and angry, I would never recommend anyone to choose mail.com, especially if you require multiple email accounts for personal or business use, they will not establish the facts around the account/s, they just delete accounts, this is dangerous as they could delete very sensitive or confidential information without the owner of the email account/s to recover the data before deletion. Stay well away from mail.com, they do not care about their customers, they do not care about customer data, basically they are inept and incompetent who do not care about the consequences of their actions, they lie to their customers and back track with different lies.
STAY AWAY from mail.com, avoid like the plague, I recommend yahoo or gmail for multiple email accounts.

Keeps blocking my account for no reason, to much hassle to have to keep contacting them
All I wanted a simple system
All I wanted a simple system. I tried to register twice, but eve though it was "succesful" the system never let me back in it.
Costumer service useless, asked for screenshots, but they can not recieve pictures bigger than 5kb. Impossible challange, but they already collected data, avoid this at any cost.
Primitive and bad customer service
Primitive and bad customer service
Garbage service
Garbage service. Deleted my account even though it's still linked to my phone number and sending me password reset codes that don't work. Support told me I'm SOL and never getting my email back. The couple of accounts I had linked to that email I will never be able to access again.
Do not recommend - Too many headaches to simply set up account
Opened an account a day ago. Since then (36hs passed), I was not able to set up 2FA. I get error messages from the mail.com site "opsss, something went wrong". Looks quite an improvised service...
Account set-up yesterday, blocked today...why?
Set up an account yesterday under my business name of Genial Drinks and it was blocked this morning. Was advised that 'we place the highest priority on protecting the online security of all our customers. Unfortunately, this means we are occasionally forced to permanently block accounts that are associated with impermissible activity, as outlined in the mail.com Terms and Conditions.' I sell wines and spirits (in the UK only), my company is registered under that business name and I have a license for selling alcoholic beverages. Are mail.com saying that selling wines & spirits is an 'impermissible activity'? I find that hard to believe (they have bartender.net and brew-meister/master as domain options) and it is certainly not listed specifically in their T&Cs
Mail.com not living up to expectations.
I have a mail account and have had for many years. I was using it through my Samsung email app. But recently it logged me out, saying i couldn't log in. So found out that they had cancelled pop/imap, so could only download to mail.com app and use that. Pop/imap are now for paid customers only. This is full of ads and hate this app so much. I was not informed about stopping pop/imap service. It's obvious to me they needed to get people using there app to feed us more advertising. Totally out of order i would say and i now need 2 emails as the mail.com app doesn't allow other email company's . I'm starting a long process of moving all my accounts and then it's a goodbye to mail.com. I would advise others not to touch this mail company.
Advertising: I've had this email address for years…
I've had this email address for years but lately it has become a joke. You cannot read an email between the constant bombardment of useless advertisements. I'm not sure the service you get is worth paying for to stop the advertisements. What was once an awesome email address has now become a nightmare. I am thinking whether to keep or get rid of this email address. A big shame in my opinion.
Simple and straightforward email…
Simple and straightforward email account in which you have options to personaliz your domain name and I have had absolutely no spam in my inbox. The only issue is it often seems to be blacklisted as suspicious which I put down to simply not being Google or yahoo.
Reluctant to state price for premium (ad free) version
I have just spent 20 minutes reading their web site prior to signing up. Nowhere, and I mean nowhere does it state a price for the premium (ad free) version. Searching the internet comes up with many people who have had to provide all of their information before mail.com will state a price. If you then don't agree with the price it's unfortunately too late as they already have ALL of your information.
cant even log out from an adroid app
cant even log out from an adroid app. dont even think about using this provider.
