Very good assistance from the Makebloc team. Excellent.
I asked them a question about how to control the mBot robot with Bluetooth (remote control) and they responded quickly, and thanks to their response I was able to successfully resolve the remote control issue. In this way the mBot robot can operate without being connected with a cable to the computer, which gives the robot more independence and freedom of movement.
I am very pleased with the Makeblock team.

"I am impressed with the functionality of this robot. Although I initially faced some difficulty in comprehending its operation, the building process was straightforward and simple. The instructions provided were lucid and comprehensible, enabling me to assemble the robot within an hour. Once I became familiar with the robot, I downloaded the app and began exploring its capabilities. While programming the robot was easy, I faced issues with the app and the CyberPi screen which was flashing and not turning on. However, I was able to resolve the issue by updating the robot.

The mBot2 is great for kids to learn programming. In contrast to more expensive brands like Lego, it is much cheaper to get extensions, custom sensors.
Customer service is really dedicated, quick and friendly. I had a problem with flashing the firmware and I thought I'd bricked the CyberPi, but they send me additional software to force a re-flash, and it worked. Thanks!

Makeblock's support team is always helpful whenever we forward any technical problem relating to Makeblock's products. At one point, we had a 12V DC pump running continuously every time we connected it to the circuit before we even programmed it. They sent detailed instructions in video format on how we can handle the problem and it was resolved. They have recently clarified my question on the accelerometer embedded in Halocode (one of their products) and I am happy that they are always willing to share knowledge. Such knowledge sharing improves the educational content offered by their devices.

I needed to order some replacement motors (student error damaged a motor) and the customer service was great. It does take about a day to get responses back through email, but they are knowledgeable and easy to deal with!

The support team resolved for me a huge problem about connecting LEGO WeDo to mBlock, the team was very helpful and friendly.

I usually hear back from MakeBlock tech support within one business day. It can take days to hear back from competitors such as VEX Robotics.

I recently purchased the Ultimate 2.0 for my daughter.
Great product, very useful as an educational tool for kids, but also interesting and engaging for adults.
Also great support from the team, they facilitated getting some spare parts even though this was not through a standard sales channel.

I'm using Makeblock products (mBot 1.1, Starter Robot Kit, various Me-modules) for more than 2 years in robo-class for kids in age 10 - 12. The mBot with the Me modules give us enough fun and inspiration for whole year - mainly when combined with 3D printer and ability to create our own extensions (i.e. robo-hands....). The only weakness is inability to ride directly (each DC motor achieves slightly different RPM for the same commands) - but on other hands this motivate students for programming of following lines or for utilization of end-switches installed at 3D-printed bumper.
I have also great experience with technical support from the Makeblock - when I dealt with some difficulties, they were very responsive and patient with me - and finally helped me to solve the problem.
In general, I found the Makeblock products very useful for the class for beginners who are just starting with the robotics. The DC motors are weak point of mBot 1.1 (not just because of the DC motor open-loop control behavior, but the motors are prone to mechanical failures over the time – however the spare parts are cost-affordable) but this small disadvantage helps to motivate students for innovative ways how to get around it. I’m looking forward to try mBot 2.0 in near future.

I needed an extra part and Chloe helped a lot. It took a bit of catching up with me. But she was patient and she understood what I meant. It did take 2 days but I assume it was a time difference. And that's my only gripe if one at all. All in all, 5/5 WOULD RECCOMEND!

I got the Mbot robot for my birthday in 2019 or 2020, the attraction had been on the Mbot that I get along better with him and the programming is really easy for me I am very satisfied with the Mbot to date I can not complain I am very happy with the Makeblock product.

was missing a wheel tread. took a few days to process, but was able to get the missing part so we could put the device to full use!
