Heavily overpriced

The price supports the apple like presentation box but not the product itself.

Essentially this is a nylon piece of rope you secure around your waist - £25... really?! It's uncomfortable and fiddly to get just right, provides no real benefit over that of measuring yourself regularly with a tape measure and makes semi fitting clothing look lumpy. it is supposed to make you more conscious about what you eat (quantities) so fails to deliver if you like to eat high calorie but low density food or drink.

Great marketing with no added value in my opinion.

Absolutely pathetic!

If you followed through on your system you would note that I did NOT buy a Malory band because you DON'T ship to South Africa. So, please stop asking me to write a review for an experience that was highly dissapointing and non-exsisting.

Hi Juan

I do apologise for this feedback email being sent. We do ship to South Africa (and to every other country in the world) but some South African credit cards are disallowed by our system. Other customers who have suffered the same problems have been able to buy a Malory Band through amazon.co.uk.

I live in South AFrica and have been unable to obtain one.

Your website is unable to accept my credit card as I live in South Africa. I have tried to get one through the bank by they look at it as importing!! SO FRUSTRATED.

If you have a bank account whereby I can pay south african rands into I will gladly buy one for me and my daughter. SO KEEN TO TRY IT!!!!

Hi Riekie

I know this is frustrating for you and I am sorry. Have you tried amazon.co.uk to see if they accept your credit cards? Alternatively, you could do an online transfer to our bank.

Asked for help didn't get it

Contacted band supplier direct, left voice mail, no response, like the product not the provider

Hi Susan

I am so sorry that you received no response from us. We make it company policy to reply to all customers within 24 hours so I am not sure what happened to your voicemail. Please can you call me on 01608 659316 or email me at malory@maloryband.com? I would very much like to see how we can help you.

Still trying...!

The Malory Band theory is absolutely spot on! It IS true that we pay no attention to how full we feel when we're eating- and when I started to downsize my dishes, I was shocked to see how little I could eat and still feel full - at least, my tummy did but my (little) brain seemed to urge me to finish what was on my plate - and then finish off with something sweet - even just a biscuit! By the end of the day, the Band was so tight I had to take it off in the end! BUT...I WILL persevere! Summer is on its way in South America, so maybe salads will help. Keep you posted...with better news, I hope!

Thanks for your comment Jean, and we're thrilled you're trying to work with the Malory Band to meet your weight goals. Keep going - at least you're now aware of the portion size you need to feel full. Stay in touch! The Malory Band team.
