i have been trying for over 4 years to acces my MPF after permanently departing Hong Kong. I am blocked at every avenue with needless excuses and bureaucratic objections, despite having provided the required paperwork. At this point I can only conclude that their attempts to block my accessing my own funds are wilful malpractice, rather than through the ineptitude of the staff.

Manulife term life insurance is a scam they raised my premium from $ 99 to $877 monthly without my signature or approval what a scam. W was away for 6 month taking care of my sick relative came back to over 5k gone from my account. They are refusing refund.

I would give negative stars if this were possible. This review is specifically for Manulife Manila, Philippines. My dad passed away recently and we filled a claim on a policy he created with Manulife Manila that was intended to support us in the event of his passing - to help defray costs etc. Our family filled in May and it has now been 16 weeks (4 months) and we have not heard any status update to indicate when we might receive the reimbursement from this claim. Buyer beware. If you plan to have an investment with this company to help your loved ones in the event of your passing, please look elsewhere for options. They seem to be dragging their feet in order to keep our investments locked up to make money for them as long as possible. Disgusting in such situations as a death in the family.

This company is a scam. I paid my premiums for 20 years. Recently, I decided to surrender my policy and MANULIFE gave me only almost the same amount as what I paid in 20 years. In short, they made money and paid its people from my premiums, but I did not stand to gain. Avoid this company.
