Bad experience with Marbodal

Marbodal Malmö Svågertorp:
My current kitchen is from Marbodal and I chose them mainly for the design. Unfortunately, the design turned out disappointing, the product quality feels average . honestly, no better than IKEA. On top of that, you pay almost triple the price.

The worst part is the service: they don’t answer emails, they ignore follow-up questions, and the staff are neither helpful nor professional. Overall, not recommended

Edit: Nothing has changed in the company. They contacted me only to ask what the problem was. Even after I explained that the issue was on their side, they still asked how they could help , when in reality, they were the ones ignoring emails, neglecting customers, and failing to respond. What they truly need is help to fix their company culture so it meets basic human and international ethical standards.
I don’t mind paying more for quality, but when the service is poor and the product quality is no better than others, at the very least you expect good service and clear answers. Instead, you just end up feeling foolish for paying extra. That’s why still, I cannot recommend Marbodal to anyone.

Bad experience with Marbodal

We ordered a kitchen from Marbodal Nybrogatan in March 2025. But the way it looks now, kitchen will not be complete by our moving date mid may 2025.
First delivery, 17th April, missing pieces, but no information that parts are missing!! we go to them and get a list of missing items which is more than what we thought!!
New delivery comes today - more missing items.
On top of that, measurement errors now spotted. we really are in a tight spot!!
we contacted the kitchen designer at marbodal, but she is too busy for a meeting to discuss. Emails upon emails being exchanged.
So frustrating, i dont know how we will resolve this

Delivery and design issues but Marbodal did compensate us fairly for this

Edit: Marbodal did reimburse us for the extra costs and issues we had. We still aren't happy with what happened, but they did do the right thing. I changed the review score from 1 to 3 based on this.

Original review (edited slightly to update):
We ordered a Marbodal kitchen many months in advance, but it took a year from the order date to finally arrive completely. Even the delayed deliveries were often delayed again. It is impossible to plan the installation of a kitchen when this happens. In addition to that, they designed the kitchen so badly that there could have been water damage that would go undetected, and insurance would not pay for any damages. This had to do with their new "hörnskåp", which should not have a dishwasher placed next to it. Ours was in the design done by Marbodal, and it wasn't even the fault of the designer at Marbodal. Their design program allowed for the error. Luckily we figured out the error on our own. We and the installers were on the phone with Marbodal many times over a period of days in order to come up with a solution. Surprised the person who responded below doesn't know about this, but it's a big company.
