I ordered 2 pillows and a pair of espadrilles. The espadrilles arrived by Royal Mail, postman rang the bell and handed me the shoes. Onto the pillows...... M&S said they were being delivered by thei... See more

SILK TROUSERS 5 STARS; NEW SPARKS PROGRAMME ZERO
I purchased a pair of pure silk, balloon trousers, which are beautiful, soft and airy and can be worn with any kind of top.
I received a 20% discount which was an added bonus and I would not have purchased them without it, as they would have been over £100. Five stars for the trousers. However, 0 stars for the packaging as my order arrived screwed up in a tiny bag. This is not what is expected for an item that is quite expensive.
The M&S discounts are something that I look forward to and therein now lies the problem. The company has replaced this with its new Sparks programme, where customers now have to purchase items at full price, in order to receive money in the Sparks digital wallet, which can then be offset against future purchases. So now, customers must pay full price and then must purchase other items in order to receive the money off!
Furthermore, the new Sparks programme is supposedly personalised to the customer. This is absolutely, utter nonsense. I was given breaded or battered fish; wine; pizza and cook and dine (£18 spend), as my offers. I have never purchased any of these from M&S and I do not drink alcohol! Hardly tailored items, specific to me!
Customers will not be fooled by this and unless they make regular food purchases from this store, it is likely that M&S will lose a lot of business. I will no longer purchase anything from the company, unless items are heavily discounted in the sales.
Shame on you M&S for trying to deceive loyal customers in this way.

NO customer service
Was in the Newcastle branch tonight and said to a employee, excuse me can I ask at that point she walked past me and waved her hand at me in a dismissive manner and walked away, I only wanted to know where the till was just as well I was not having a medical emergency. What a horrible experience 😞

I usually have a good experience with Marks and Spencer however I purchased a Per Una Saddle Bag, I actually loved the bag but I wanted to wear it as a cross over, the bag has a short shoulder strap with no option of wearing as a cross over so unfortunately I reluctantly sent it back. It would have been great had the strap been longer in order to give both options of shoulder or cross over.
Food departments are worse than ever.
Lost track of the number of times I’ve gone in for food and they just have a gap on the shelf where the item should be or they have changed to item and made it worse and then charged more for it. Company is on the decline and it’s deserved
Disgusting fine beans, origin: Kenya
I recently bought a pack of “fine beans” from the Marks & Spencer Southfields store, and honestly, the quality was really disappointing. Despite the premium branding and price you expect from M&S, the beans were far from fresh.
When I opened the pack, several of the beans already had visible brown and mushy spots, and once I started trimming them, it became clear a good portion were tough, stringy, or discolored inside. I ended up throwing quite a few pieces away, which defeats the point of paying extra for supposedly higher-quality produce.
It’s frustrating because M&S usually has a reputation for better standards, but this felt like something you’d expect from a reduced or near-expiry item—except this wasn’t. Definitely not the level of freshness or quality I expect, and I’ll think twice before buying fresh veg from this branch again.

The Halifax store was a disappointment…
The Halifax store was a disappointment when I visited today Saturday April 18th.
Yes the store was busy this morning but I wanted to return a food product which was inedible and thought it necessary to draw attention to the others remaining on sale. I had spent half an hour trying to speak to someone on the phone also on line and was told to go to the store.
It was quite obvious that the two people that I tried to speak to were not listening to me. I could have a replacement which was of course no good or my money back.
We do not have a Customer Service in store any longer so no one has the time to note any complaint other than AI when you try to explain the problem by phone or on line.
Parking charges at Eclipse Park…
Parking charges at Eclipse Park Maidstone.
If you go over 3 hours you are now charged £85, so for an extra 23 minutes I was charged £85!!!
This is extortionate.
The company who now run the car park is Euro Car Parks!
How can Mark's let them get away with this.
Car park charges should be worked out on how much time you have spent over the allowed amount. In other stores I visit, you get 6 hours.
3 hours is not enough if you are shopping and having lunch plus trying to park on a busy day.
Very disappointed 😞
Family bra fitting
Mum, sisters and niece had our bras fitted today for a wedding absolutely fantastic staff Helen and Rosiland looked after us all fabulous service fitting and a made us feel so relaxed.
Terrible customer services and still waiting for a refund…
Still waiting for a refund. M&S have a worthless offshore call centre. Took a whole week of calls to even get the item picked up. Now 3 weeks into waiting for a refund. Utterly useless, don’t buy anything from them unless you are 100% sure you will keep it.
Outstanding customer service from Sara and Dawn
I would like to commend two members of staff at the Marks & Spencer city centre branch in Milton Keynes who really stood out during my visit yesterday afternoon.
I approached a staff member named Sara for help in locating a specific item (a blue denim waistcoat). She was extremely polite, approachable, and genuinely willing to assist. When she was unable to find the item straight away, she went above and beyond by checking online and making additional efforts rather than simply pointing me in a direction.
Sara also sought assistance from another colleague, Dawn, and together they took the time to walk around the store with me to try and locate what I needed. Their teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile made a strong impression on me.
Both Sara and Dawn demonstrated excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service. They are a real credit to your organisation, and their attitude significantly improved my shopping experience.
Inaccurate Product Description. Poor Customer Service.
I ordered a scarf online which was described as a linen mix. When the order arrived, I could not believe my eyes. This was in fact, a bandanna not a scarf. The dimensions were completely different from those specified on the website. Additionally, it was 70% viscose and very cheap and tacky looking. I have had better quality items as free gifts in comparison with this overpriced item at £20. I rang customer services to complain because I was grieved at being charged postage and packing for an item that did not conform to the website description. I spoke to a very bored and disinterested customer services representative who I suspect was in Southeast Asia. Although she said she would make a note of my comments, when I eventually received my refund over two weeks later, the postage and packing had not refunded. I will put this down to experience and it will be Marks & Spencer‘s loss as I will not be making any more online purchases from this site. There are plenty of other online retailers who provide better service and actually listen to the concerns of their customers. I think the website and the app are not use a friendly. Additionally, it appears that if you post a negative product review that it is either not published or removed from the website soon after submission. This is deceitful and misleading, poor potential customers.
Best Fruit/Vegetables Quality from a Supermarket
The food and especially the fruit/veggies are always great.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience with Marks & Spencer Sparks rewards. I was expecting my birthday treat to appear in my account, but it never arrived as promised. I contacted customer service and was told it would be sorted, but nothing has been resolved.
It is upsetting when a reward system is advertised as a benefit but then does not work properly, and even after reaching out for help, there has been no follow-up or solution. I expected better reliability and customer service from a major retailer.
Overall, this has left me feeling let down, and I hope M&S improves how it manages Sparks rewards and customer support going forward.
What's happened to Lily skin jeans?
I have for ages bought M and S lily slim jeans
Super.
However, they seem to have been resized and are either huge - or out of stock
The white ones are much much smaller.
The paler colours have horrible creases and are faded
What's going on?
Awful delivery by EVRI
If I had known in advance that the courier was EVRI I would not have made this purchase, because the delivery is so unreliable and unsafe.
The first package in the order was left inside the communal entrance to my block, despite instructions not to leave anything there as items have been stolen from there before.
The second package in the order arrived a day late despite me paying for two day delivery.
The products themselves are good quality, but I will not order again from Marks & Spencer online if they continue to use EVRI.
There were times when I loved shopping in Marks
There were times, many months ago, when I could shop in Mark's and find it difficult to make a decision, so much to choose from. Now I am lucky if I can find two items that I like, not love, what is going on? So many items of clothing are 'slim'. Do not enjoy my shopping experience, it is a real disappointment and headache. This is a genuine experience, believe me.
