i thought i was purchasing the report. i choose the 99.00 report over a week ago and as of 03/03/2026 i have not received any information for mark skousen. at this point i am wondering if i have been scammed.
Mark Skousen's research is solid. My 1-star rating is due to his publisher, Eagle Financial Publications. I signed up for one of his newest services, TNT Trader. The order form offers a 30-day, money back guarantee, no questions asked. This is false. I contacted customer service 2 weeks after my purchase and requested a refund. They refused, stating the service wasn't eligible for refund. I even sent them screenshots of my order form where it specifically states they offer a money-back guarantee; they still denied my refund and said it is non-negotiable as per their head of sales, Grant Linhares. This unethical business practice has caused me to cancel the 2 other services I held with Mark Skousen.
The information provided by Forecasts and Strategies is decent - if you want long term stock positions.
I switched to a service that also took into account what type of market conditions we are experiencing and whether it was time to sell.
I CALLED AND CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP OVER A MONTH BEFORE THE ANNUAL FEE WAS DUE. I RECEIVED AT LEAST 2 CALLS TRYING TO CHANGE MY MIND FOR A LOWER COST. I SAID NO, CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. THEN THEY WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED ME THE FULL PRICE ANYWAY - SAYING THEY HAD NO RECORD THAT I HAD CALLED TO CANCEL.
Mark Skousen offers many services, not just Forecasts and Strategies. Don't be fooled by his big promises! I subscribed to Home Run Trader (now Low Price Stocks) with a GUARANTEE of 16 triple digit winners in a year or your money "back" to apply towards a different service. Well, there were NOT 16 triple digit winners, and Skousen refused to stand behind his "money back" promise - which only allowed you to get a credit to use for other services any way. So don't be fooled by the guarantees! And think about what you're signing up for - in hindsight, I should know that 16 "home runs" would probably mean a whole lot of strike outs. So even if there were 16 big winners (sadly there weren't), I still would have lost money swinging for the fences and striking out. All in all, I got some hefty losses that I can use to offset the capital gains I made on my own trades.
Further - I'm sure Skousen made a TON of money selling my email address, because within a couple days of signing up, I started getting spammed. Still to this day - 13 months later - I'm unsubscribing from about 10 sites a day - all the same "sensationalistic" emails with scare tactics that you must act now to protect your money. They're from different email addresses, but they're all cut from the same cloth, and they all started when I subscribed to Skousen.
