Scam. Advertised as hand made quilted baskets made in North Carolina. Not quilted not handmade and when I made the complaint I was given an address in HONG KONG to return the baskets.

Avoid marlowmarketco.com at all cost. I reported the scam to the Better Business Bureau after falling for fraudulent product listing and website. Company is in China and uses fake images and stories to lure in customers. Reviews are fake, pictures are fake, details are fake, everything is fake. By the time real reviews are left here, they remove the product from the site. I will never purchase anything online from a small artisan site without consulting trustpilot and/or googling reviews before purchasing. And I am trying to get rid of yahoo news since 50% of stories or "news" are fake like Amos. Try to help an American "artisan" and got scammed by China. Won't happen again.

I found out this is a scam. They use other people names and products to get you to buy. The products are from China. You have to pay to return to Hong Kong. It took 2 weeks to get the crap

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT BUY!!! It is run out of Guangzhou, China, and is gross misrepresentation.

False Advertising. Total Scam. Bird house was supposed to be hand crafted out of wood as advertised. It was not hand crafted from wood, but poured from a resin.

I only have in one star because to it wouldn't let me give no stars! Do Not order anything from this company, it is a total scam. I paid $130 for 3 items, one of which was the "hand carved barn wood flag" and received a cheap cardboard picture of a flag instead. I did not receive the other 2 items at all.

The Amos Hand carved wood spirit birdhouse is 100% plastic and the ugliest thing I had ever seen. A total rip off and it I want my money back need to send it back to Hong Kong. Unbelievable!!! First time I have been this badly scammed only $39 they say they will refund 50%. They better, What a joke...

Ordered 3 of them for myself and family members. As stated by others they are made of plastic and much smaller.I contacted MarlowMarketCo for a full refund. I was instructed to mail them back to Hong Kong at my expense. Although they were supposed to be carved in South Carolina if my memory serves me right. I did continue to have correspondence with Sarah at MarlowMarketCo in reference to a full refund. A full refund was denied, but in three different emails I was offered 25%, 35% then 50% and I could keep the bird houses. Long story short I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges. Got all my money back. "THANK YOU SARAH" HAHAHA!!!

Scam, sham. The Amos Hand carved birdhouses claim to be from a solid piece of wood, that the wood will buffer spring temperature fluctuations and protect the best. The single piece of glue free wood won't fall apart in wet weather. They even sent a card thanking us for supporting real artisans. This birdhouse is plastic or resin, it's NOT wood, it's much smaller than identified and it damages the reputation of actual bird house carvers. I'm not returning it for a refund I'd never see and I'm not making this cheap birdhouse available for resale. Be aware!

This “market” website is a scam!!! I wish I found this page of reviews before buying my “one-of-a-kind hand carved wooden Amos birdhouse”. I received a cheap plastic piece of crap from this company. I am now in an email battle with them as they are refusing to refund 100% of my money and are claiming they can only give me 30% if I pay for shipping and send it back to Hong Kong. These guys are complete scammers! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I bought the Amos "hand carved" birdhouse but it's completely false advertising. The birdhouse is made of plastic and it's half the size of the ones pictured!!! It's such a red flag that you can't leave reviews directly on their website. Marlow Market just pulls over the 5 star ratings from trust pilot and since anyone can leave a review on here without verifying that they made a purchase Marlow Market must be writing fake reviews.

I first came across these birdhouses from an article on Google about Amos Hensley and how due to health issues he was no longer able to keep making wood carved bird houses and the ones for sale were his last batch. Such a scam!!!!

Marlow Market Co is a scam, thought I bought a hand carved wooden flag made in USA. $39.99. The advertisement seemd legit website. Was sent a tracking number and ended up with plastic rectangle with fake flag. Reporting to every agency possible, after telling bank.

Product was total junk and I have been unable to get an answer from them. I am disputing my payment. TOTAL SCAM. I am embarrassed that I fell for it.

They advertised wooden Nesting Boxes hand carved, they were extruded plastic, the cost of sending them back was almost as much as they cost and the refund was 25% to keep and not send back. How do they get any five star review is beyond my comprehension.

Ordered two "Hand carved" wood carved bird houses. They took forever to get delivered and were clearly not hand carved. They were in fact, plastic molded Chinese cheap garbage. This is complete fraud and should be shut down. I will contact my bank to dispute the charge.

SCAMMERS!! I received a molded plastic piece of crap instead of 'a hand carved wood bird feeder.' This company is located in Hong Kong.

Hand made in China. What a rip off. Ordered "wood" hand carved bird houses. Turned out to be cheap plastic. Why can't I remember to check reviews before purchasing stuff on-line. And of course the return process says no sale items and I bought 2 which gave me a discount. So no return and the return process is a huge hassle anyway. I wish a pox on the house of the people who run this website!

They are a complete lie. The handcrafted bird house that is supposed to be hand carved from wood is a molded plastic cheap piece of junk. Not from the mountains of North Carolina but the back streets of China. When I called the delivery to check on eta, I could hear a rooster crowing in the background and the agent would not disclose the location. Very Shady organization. If you come across their homespun website, shut it down and never ever buy anything from these fraudsters.

Item was described in great detail as being hand carved and the carver was retiring, so get his last products before so. The item was plastic, there was no hand carving. Item was very cheap. When reaching out to the company, I was told I would have to pay shipping, to return it to Hong Kong.
