Had to return a damaged toy to another retailer and found it impossible to get a replacement. That was until I discovered Martells. They aren't local to me, so called and asked if there was a possibility of the item being shipped- "not a problem at all- just email us and we will get it sorted".

Fantastic service- everything done within days and a replacement toy delivered to us this afternoon

I enquired about a game that had doubled in price online and was due for re-release but not until march which was past the date I needed it. They were speedy and friendly and got the item shipped out to me that day. Very efficient service.

Great customer service, prompt and responsive. Asked them to deliver some toys (in mainland UK) and was smooth.

I recently brought Lego set from Martell’s. Had a fantastic experience with them great company. Communication with myself was excellent kept me updated throughout the process. Parcel arrived quickly and it was well packaged. 10/10 stars

What a fantastic service, I was looking to source Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set for my son which is out of stock everywhere. Having contacted Martell's on only Tuesday this week, they kindly agreed to send it out in the post and I received it today! A three day turn around for a request and then to arrive, I am very impressed and would highly recommend Martells! Thank you :)

Wow! I will always go to the Martell's site first for any toy needs from now on! I was searching online for a particular soft toy and Martell's was one of the only places with the one I wanted. I emailed them on Thursday evening after they had closed, and had a reply first thing Friday morning. After a few emails explaining costs and sending postage details, the item was with me by lunchtime on Sunday. All contact was courteous, professional and efficient, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a brilliant store with excellent customer service. Thank you to all who were involved in sorting my purchase/delivery!

My son insisted on a particular toy for Christmas this year that appears to have not been sold for a couple of years. After browsing the web, I saw that Martell's had it, but this is usually a click and collect service (or in store) and I live in the Midlands.
I emailed Martell's enquiring about delivery. Nina replied the first working day after my weekend email amd were very friendly and efficient, with everything sorted and postage arranged to my address. The item came today, perfect condition.
My son will be delighted on Christmas Day, thank you so much.

Was struggling to find a particular card game that is hard to find and Martells Toy Shop were able help. Excellent communication and sent on day of payment being made. Received two days later and in time for our holiday.

Such a department store as Martell’s is wonderful to have in East Grinstead! Growing up it has always been a joy to see what fun gadget and toys they have, even now as an adult seeing the furniture and furnishings for a home fills me with glee!

Not the most reasonably priced shop out there, but a good range of toys also nice to be able to go and look in person still and was great for the last minute lego advent purchase. Also helpful staff.

I always liked the old store in my local town centre of East Grinstead off the London Road. Been going there for decades literally. I like the newer times store all the more in the main London Road, within the old Whitehall Cinema building from the wartime. Fabulous local history gallery pictures on the walls by the stairs.
I always wished my old late great friend and Chief Projectionist Roy Henn had lived to see the current incarnation of the reused old cinema building he was in when it was infamously deliberately bombed by the German airforce in WW2. Love the roof terrace for coffee in the summer months here in the new look store on many levels. Always liked the toy department for gifts too. Very high quality of furniture in store. Great place for gifts generally. Last great item I recall buying was my United States of America stars and bars flag fleece throw. Very iconic looking. They always have interesting things here.
