I bought several service manuals from them and every one they supply is appallingly badly copied – PCB layouts are either absolutely covered in toner speckles or so dark that the information is totally unreadable, or so faint that you can't read anything on either the circuit or layouts!

They bang their rubber stamp down on every page with absolutely no thought as to what vital information may be obscured or rendered illegible by doing so!

Like a reviewer who posted six years ago, they refunded my payment with very bad grace and wouldn't accept any orders I enquired about afterwards!

Paid for an electronic copy of a service manual but nothing ever turned up. And couldn't get a response via email when I tried chasing. In the end I had to claim a refund via PayPal (who they never responded to either.) To be fair to Mauritron there's some evidence that they were having email issues as attempts to contact them directly were being returned as undelivered, but if your business model is based around manually emailing out documents to customers (as opposed to direct downloads) then you really need to keep on top of such things. As it is I would avoid them unless the manual you're after is unavailable elsewhere *and* you can use a payment method that will allow you to claim a refund if needed.

In the past I've had great service from this company & would have recommended them to anyone. Sadly on the one occasion when I felt their offering wasn't up to standard and had the audacity to request a refund, they did so with very bad grace and don't wish to supply me in future.
Quite amazing. If they'd stated it was poor quality and explained how hard it was to find the data in any form, I'd have accepted it!

Was looking for a manual for an old piece of test gear and just about given up when I found these guys who had exactly what I wanted and supplied double quick time
