RUN AWAY doNOT purchase

Long horrible story, stick w me friends who value their money!
Would give a negative star review if I could.
We ordered our steam shower in March 2025. Shipment was delayed 2 times, I wish I would have had the hindsight to CANCEL the shipment then.
Delivery:
The product finally shipped BUT the semi could not fit up our driveway and the sales rep at MayaBath thought it would be ok for them to deliver to the middle of the street. Um, no. Then the sales rep said we needed to pick it up from the freight depot a solid 1 way hour away from our house (and when you pick up you take on all liability of product). Um, no. I told them if they could not figure out how to get it to my house, as logistics was the company problem to sort not mine, they could take the product back. And again, I wish I would have said take the product back I dont want it. It was finally delivered Sept 2025
Product:
The product has arrived and we have had MANY issues w the company sending SUBPAR material as well as NOT ENOUGH materials to complete the install.
Customer Service:
There is none. Again, the sales person contact is via email, the only way to get in touch as they will not answer phone/no one calls you. CS are there to divert you round and round in circle conversations, make suggestions that have nothing to do w problem at hand, point the finger of blame back to customer for their product short comings. Cs has no real experience and no real knowledge on how the actual product goes together/how it works. Ie: Tell you you put a screw in a piece the wrong way when there is only 1 way for the screw to be inserted.
9 MONTHS into this fiasco:
We have been patient, we have been understanding, we have poured more money into this project & we STILL do not have a product/shower put together. We are at a standstill w our bathroom looking like a lost game of Jinga w our $7k+ investment sitting in pieces.
WORST COMPANY EVER is the nicest thing I can say at this time. I would love to exclaim some explicit, but fear they will hide my post and I really want to help save someone/anyone else the negligence of this company that we are receiving.
LIFETIME WARRANTY:
We actually went w this company because of the warrnaty. Wish we would have found other reviews before (found this site hidden). The lack of cs at the present time, I doubt we will EVER be able to use the warranty as their tactics will most likely be same as we are experiencing now IF we ever get this put together. Another $500 down the drain.

Life Time Warranty is a LIE!

I am writing to express extreme dissatisfaction regarding a malfunctioning shower unit purchased from MayaBath.com and the subsequent failure of your lifetime warranty and customer service.
The core issue is that the main shower head and both hand-held shower units began leaking despite being covered by a lifetime warranty. When I filed a claim, it was immediately denied on the grounds that these parts are not covered—a policy that contradicts the spirit of a 'lifetime warranty' and appears to be a consistent tactic to avoid coverage.
Over the past three months, I have attempted to resolve this by purchasing replacement parts, totaling hundreds of dollars. This process has been marked by gross inefficiency:
Incorrect/Missing Parts: I received several incorrect parts, and others I paid for months ago have not been shipped at all.
Defective Parts: The few replacement parts I did receive were ill-fitting, leading to new leaks and failing to resolve the original problem.
Customer Service Delays: Despite multiple attempts to communicate, your customer service team has repeatedly delayed the process without offering any actual resolution.
I have spent three months and significant money trying to fix an issue that should have been covered by the warranty. I demand an immediate and full resolution:
A full refund for all incorrect and missing parts I was charged for.
Shipment of the correct, fully functioning, and warrantied parts immediately, at no cost to me.
A concrete timeline for resolution from a dedicated representative.
If this is not resolved within 5 business days, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and escalating this issue on all public review platforms.

Pretty good product, very poor support

How can this company average 3.2 stars with only 1 review of only 1 star?
This product is made and probably tested in China. The people who market it here know very little about it and are not motivated to find anything out. To my knowledge there is only one salesperson at Mayabath. They seldom if ever answer calls directly, but rather call you back, sometimes much later. I purchased the Platinum Lucca model and had it installed by an electrician/plumber who is very knowledgeable. He told me that the installation instructions were poor to downright non existent. After the completed the installation I found a complete installation video on youtube for this very model that the salesman knew nothing about. All of the installation videos for Mayabath products show Chinese technicians with no speaking or writing, indicating that these videos were made by the manufacturing company in China, not by Mayabath. These products seem to be pretty good and at a good price, but the support from Mayabath is almost non existent. This is the reason why Home Depot and other large stores offer the other more popular brands with less features. My TV won't even come on. I know this unit was tested and probably works flawlessly when properly operated. I'll go online and try to find out why. My installer was able to fix the slow draining system that everyone is complaining about.

DISHONEST / DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICE / OVER-PRICED / WORST STEAM SHOWER + WORST COMPANY EVER!!! STAY AWAY!!!

Just imagine spending around $10K U$D or so for what I thought'd be the coolest thing in my master bathroom + another $5K in plumbing / electrical / assembly / installation fees = $15K (out the window). Now imagine the key feature as to why we purchased this steam jacuzzi NOT working. Welcome to my world. I purchased Maya Bath's most expensive steam shower jacuzzi with what they call a "Digital LCD TV" but this is where it gets good. It's a digital display w/ "internet capabilities" so we assumed there wouldn't be any issues seeing our NetFlix shows while we unwind our Friday nights, right? Wrong!
After thoroughly researching the issue, I contacted Netflix regarding this. I was told by NetFlix the reason the app is not supported on this "digital LCD TV" is solely because this specific monitor is non-compliant. By non-compliant NetFlix means… a fee must be paid by this particular manufacturer for NetFlix to allow its content to viewed or played on this device. In other words, content is being purposely blocked by NetFlix due to non-payment of said fee. That’s what the “tvq-pb-101 (1.10.5005)” error message means.
And yes, we already attempted to watch via Chrome browser. Same issue. Worse thing is… same problem w/ Hulu & other apps we’ve tried. So naturally I must ask… WHO AT MAYA BATH APPROVED THIS BAD EXCUSE OF A MONITOR??? It’s supposed to be a “smart” monitor. It’s supposed to play content. It’s neither nor.
A firmware update would be ideal. However, a firmware update I don’t believe to be the solution + only God knows how long before 1 becomes available. I've requested numerous times for monitor to be replaced for a CERTIFIED monitor that actually plays content.
For a $15K investment on what's supposed to be Maya's flagship unit, I would expect a CERTIFIED monitor that could actually play content. That was the main reason behind us purchasing this unit to begin with. Now an over-priced jacuzzi sits without any use to us whatsoever. Haven't used it since first day of install & will likely simply rot in a corner unless 1 glorious day we're able to fire up content on that "TV". So yes, we’re extremely disappointed with these results. & to make matters worse, they've flat out refused & have ignored my e-mail requesting monitor replacement. Will be seeking an attorney to review my case for what I believe is clearly false advertisement on Maya's behalf. I feel totally DUPED / SCAMMED by Maya Bath. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST / DECEITFUL COMPANY!
