Not what I was hoping for

My experience at Me Spa gave me more anxiety than relaxation. I do have to say that Jessica gave me a wonderful deep tissue massage, but the fact that we were not able to talk about my needs and preferences made it very difficult. She would have to stop was she was doing to get her phone to translate for us to have any interaction, and although I appreciate her willingness to do this, I find it disruptive when paying for an hour which should not involve any work for me as a customer. It was also disruptive that she seemed to be the only staff member present which meant she had to leave the message to answer the door and deal with other clients ( I am guessing). Another negative about this visit was the table itself. The area where you put your face was blocked by long trailing fabric which made it difficult to breathe and although the table was heated, there was no sheet provided to get under before the message started. I have gotten many messages over the past 30 years and always remove all of my clothing, but have always been provided with a sheet to allow at least a little bit of modesty. It would also be helpful for cards to be printed to explain what "medicine" was being suggested for application to my shoulders and oddly enough, my nostrils. Overall, as I said, Jessica did a great job despite the challenges I listed and my review it not intended to discourage business. I would hope to simply point out some areas with which I feel the might need to work to give a better experience for any other new customers

INITIALLY ME SPA seemed great, BUT....…

INITIALLY I had facials with a wonderful woman. Th spa took money out monthly and all seemed fine. l had scheduled an appointment for October and would normally had 4-5 requests for me to confirm my appointment. Nothing. I called and left messages, but never received a call back. Odd. I drove to the spa only to find it boarded up and no word as to what had happened. I've called , emailed.. not reply. Sad. I'm out $210 for services I never received and my $45. gift card is worthless now. What on earth happened?

They have lost my business forever

They have lost my business forever. Fortunately for them, they are unethically keeping my $800 that they collected over COVID to self support their business. I was a monthly membership customer. I did not cancel during COVID because I was told my credit would roll over and would not expire. That was a lie. When I booked my appointment after they re-opened, I was told that I had 2 months to use 8 months worth of credits. I requested more time as I don't need or want to be at the spa every week. They extended it to 90 days. That virtually makes no difference. All I wanted was the length of time I purchased (8 months to use my 8 credits). I was going to remain a customer and get 2 services each month. Every step of the way, the Me-Spa team kept telling why this was my fault and General Manager Alyssa, really drove it home. She referenced the no refund policy in my contract and said, COVID was not their fault. That's true - I never said it was, but it's not my fault either. After 2 weeks of back and forth, ME-SPA pushed me to want out completely and I requested a refund. I even suggested a partial refund compromise. All of which were denied, but they now offered to extend my use time. NO - that should have been done in the first 6 requests I made - not after this horrible customer experience. I have been lied to and demeaned and still, Me-Spa doesn't seem to care. I have never been so insulted by a company, especially one who totes themselves on relaxing you. They made this seem like it was all my fault, but every decision I made was based on misinformation from them. I was looking out for you Me-Spa, but you weren't looking out for me. Mani Pedi Massage 5 Stars!

I've tried their manicure, deep tissue massage and pedicure. The pedicure is out of this world, I've never had one like it. The chair you lay on during the manicure is so comfy, plus being in a robe, eye mask and heated neck wrap... I fell asleep. The manicure was nice, I got the gel and it's stayed on for weeks. The deep tissue massage was relaxing and the massage therapist made sure I was comfortable and they weren't pressing too hard. The room they take you in before your appointment with the foot soak is a cool perk too! Love this place, will go back and recommend.
