Knowing if I’m not with him he has a way to get help.

Horrible customer service. Cannot reach a rep regardless of how long you hold. Eventually they just cut you off.

Fortunately there have been no emergencies but the testing has gone fine.

I have never had to use guardian, but they are always there for you.

There have been two mistakes that were not mine and each was handled very well. I do have a concern- what do I do when I go out of state and can not tell your company that i will be away.

I have had medical guardian for about 2 years now, without using it. In the last month, I have had to used it twice. The response is quick. It is worth the money I have paid out. I just used it yesterday for my brother who did not have his pendant with him.

I just had the most positive experience speaking with Natasha with Bay Medical. She was confirming my mother’s medical device information and how to best set things up. She was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and an active listener.

Now I don't have to worry about my dog being left alone at home if something happens to me & nobody knows.

I purchased Medical Guardian for my mother. She didn't use it as the 'necklace' was too bulky for her. I made all payments. After about 1 year, I cancelled the service, returned the merchandise and rec'd confirmation of merchandise return and cancellation. One year later, Medical Guardian is still bugging for a payment. The office staff is useless in resolving the issue. I would never use them again.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so other families can make an informed decision.
I purchased Medical Guardian to help protect my elderly father, expecting reliability and peace of mind. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.
The system generated far too many false fall alerts while also failing to detect actual falls. False alarms are more than just an inconvenience. They create unnecessary stress, reduce confidence in the device, and can ultimately lead people to question whether a future alert is real.
What concerned me even more was the company's response. After one false alert, Medical Guardian dispatched EMS to the wrong address. An investigation was supposedly opened, but despite multiple emails, phone calls, and follow-up requests, I never received an explanation, update, or even the courtesy of a response.
When you're choosing a medical alert system, you're trusting a company to be there during some of the most vulnerable moments in your loved one's life. That trust depends not only on the technology working correctly, but also on responsive customer support when something goes wrong. In my experience, Medical Guardian failed on both counts.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. There are too many alternatives on the market to settle for a service that has proven unreliable and unresponsive when it matters most. If you're considering a medical alert system for a parent or loved one, I strongly encourage you to do your research and look carefully at other options before choosing Medical Guardian.
