I travelled from Ireland to Istanbul for eye surgery and had an excellent experience. Everything was very well organised — the transfers were smooth, the surgery went well, and the whole process felt professional and calm.

I’m quite an anxious patient (understatement of the year!), but the surgeon was patient and reassuring. The coordinators were kind, and helpful, and looked after me from start to finish, and I left with the necessary paperwork and aftercare details.

Would highly recommend.

I had dental work done in January 2023 and within 2 months my front crown and bottom fractured, and my back teeth are wobbly.
I have filled out the customer form on their website 4 times , and even tried to send WhatsApp messages to the contacts I had during my treatment and have absolutely no reply from anyone. I genuinely thought the company had gone into administration

Used Medlife a few years ago for elective gastric surgery.

They sorted everything from the accommodation, hospital, healthcare professionals as well as all transport. Made everything very stress free which given the vulnerable situation you can be in when in a foreign none English speaking country. (flights you do yourself)

It's been a few years since I had my op and have had no negative side effects, while I would not comment on if anyone should have elective surgery, I can say that Medlife made the experience as good as it could be.

The surgical insertion was done very poorly and look extremely untidy. I contacted their after-care team, but they were not helpful at all, there was no communication, and they either ignored my messages or pretended not to understand, even though everything was very clear. Interestingly, they were very attentive before the surgery and up until payment, but the after-care has been disappointing. I am now considering going somewhere else for any further treatment. I do not recommend them.

Everything was very easy and simple. Services were seamless and I felt that I was in good hands. All staff were polite and understanding. Support was offered every step of the way. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a life changing experience.

The treatment from start to finish was first class,i had 24 crowns done over 5 years ago and had no problems and they check from time to time to make sure all is ok,i would highly recommend,the calendar wont let me go back that far but it was about 5 and a half years ago.

They are the great dentist all staff profesional ,nice accomodation and a dont feel any pain once i completed all the stage for my mouth to be done.nice team all the best in Izmir Medlife..

The surgeon was wonderful, the nurses at the hospital and the medlife team, everything went without a hitch, I felt safe and well looked after, all my questions were answered and I would recommend medlife for bariatrics surgery, ive lost 7 stone and feel the best I've done in my life, can't thank this team enough

I visited Medlife in 2020 for cosmetic surgery. I was alone but had a contact who made sure I was ok. Picked up from the airport, accommodation was good. I don’t have experience of the dental side so cannot comment on that.
If I return I hope the standard of care is just as good as I experienced.

So in 2020 I made the scare decision to have a gastric sleeve after many months of research I went with the midlife group. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They are friendly helpful and do everything efficiently. It’s now over for five years since my surgery and I have lost around 60 kg. I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I will now be going with medlife when I eventually have the excess skin removed and a breast lift. I’ve enquired with many companies about a breast lift and implants and medlife is the only one who have come back and said they will not do breast implants as my skin would not take it, all the other companies have said yes, they would be happy to take my money regardless of long term effects. This is why I trust medlife.

*Disappointing Experience with [medlife ]

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the dental services provided to my father. Despite our previous positive experiences with the clinic for other procedures, the recent dental treatment fell short of expectations.

*Quality of Work:*
The crowns fitted to my father had noticeable issues. One crown had a chip, which was temporarily fixed with a putty-like substance by the dentist. However, the fix didn't last, and the problem persists. Furthermore, one of the back tooth crowns is moving, which is concerning.

*Communication:*
After the procedure, when my father reached out to the clinic team with concerns, he was ignored. I had to intervene, and even then, the response was unsatisfactory. The clinic's offer to review the issue upon my father's return to Turkey, but at his own expense, is unreasonable given the subpar work.

*Aftercare:*
The clinic's promise to address any issues that arose after the procedure has not been honored. My father was assured that any problems would be fixed for free, but now he's being asked to bear the costs.

*Conclusion:*
Given our previous positive experiences, it's disheartening to see the clinic's standards drop. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and takes necessary steps to rectify the situation.

I want to share my full experience with this clinic so others don’t go through the same nightmare I did.

I paid £6,340 for a complete treatment plan – extractions, bone grafts, sinus lifts, dental implants, and the final crowns – both top and bottom. I was clearly told at the beginning that this total price included flights and accommodation for all three treatment stages. In reality, only the first stage included the flight. The other two stages only included hotel stays – no flights covered.

After the first stage, my upper implants failed. In the end, only one remained in place. The top work was never completed – no crowns, nothing – yet I was charged for the entire plan. For months, I politely asked for a refund only for the upper work that was not done. I didn’t ask for anything extra – just the fair amount for what was left incomplete. They promised multiple times to “talk to the boss” and find a solution, but after endless waiting, I received their final answer: the owners refused any refund, claiming that the work done so far (implants, bone grafts, sinus lift) already covered the total amount paid – even though my treatment remained unfinished.

Another huge problem – zero transparency in pricing. You are given only a total sum, never a detailed breakdown of how much each procedure costs. So when something is not completed, you have no way to calculate exactly how much money you should get back. This is not fair and leaves the patient powerless in refund discussions.

Communication is another disaster. Throughout my entire treatment and refund request, I never spoke to anyone above the driver – yes, the driver. He also arranged my appointments, drove me from the hotel to the clinic, and was my only point of contact. Whenever I asked to speak with someone higher, I was told the owner “does not speak English.” I had a Turkish-speaking person ready to translate, but still, I was denied any contact. There is no way to reach someone truly in charge.

And even the lower work, which is “finished,” has serious flaws: I have 6 implants on the bottom connected to my fixed bridge. On one implant in the front, the gum has receded so much that the metal implant is fully visible. Food gets trapped under the bridge daily, making it extremely hard to clean. This is not just an aesthetic issue – it’s a long-term risk for infection and bone loss.

Final warning: If you have complex dental problems – if you’ve struggled with your teeth for years and need serious, advanced work – do not come here. You will get stuck in a mess you can’t get out of. This clinic might be fine for simple cases (a few implants, no complications), but for anything more, look elsewhere.

My experience: promises not kept, treatment unfinished, no transparency, no accountability, and zero chance to speak to a real decision-maker.
