Telling everyone van broke down so they Don't have to pick you back up from airport and you have to pay for a taxi at your own expense. Taxi service i used from manchester airport said they do it all the time they have had ro bring so many people to that carpark.when confronted they said the taxi service are just jealous! how when they are making money bringing people to the carpark. Thats if you can call it a car park its a massive dumping ground of rocks! My car key is damaged i thought maybe they changed the battery but nope after putting a new one in my car still won't lock. Please avoid this carpark and these scammers

Absolute shambles of a company. I should of known when I dropped my car off. £12 return but they drop off outside on the road and not in the terminal .Was told to ring 30mins before pick up. Mobile number goes straight to answer machine which then says mailbox full. Rang constantly for an hour before someone answered. Was told to send my number and car reg. Then rang after another 30mins after hearing nothing. Was asked again for my reg and number. After another 30mins of silence I rang again to be told the driver should be there already. After finally getting to a complete dump of waste ground it took a further 20mins to find my car. How is this legal is beyond me.

Just arrived to leave our car for holiday & utter chaos-dreadful parking place, people blocked entrance as they lost several people car keys, not collecting people from airport resulting in them having to pay for a taxi -,STAY AWAY shocking!! 😡

Where do I start

Car park looks like a tipping ground. Once there you have no guidance from staff. After waiting confused for some time we were taken to the airport in a tacky old van

Upon entering the van we were requested to pay £6 to for airport entry

The horror continued on our return. After several attempts to make contact we were told the van had broken down and had to catch a taxi at our own expense to the car park

Don't be fooled by the initial low price. I would avoid this scam

What a disgusting horrible company!! Where do I even start. They charge you £6 entry and £6 exit AFTER you’ve booked with them. Upon arrival They told us to ring 30 mins before arrival so they can pick us up. When I rang them they told me to call them back after 5 minutes. I called them back and they gave me some nonsense about their van breaking down. Told me to get a black cab and make my own way to the parking. The little muppet working there had no answers about refunds, clearly was way over his head. He said we can’t give refunds because and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. I had to drag 5 suitcases 3 under 4 year olds to the parking. And obviously I forgot what a disgusting mud pit the car park is. Don’t even bother wearing nice trainers because they’re going to get ruined. It’s basically dumping your car in a muddy field and charging you for no service at all. It’s not a park and ride it’s basically park in an empty muddy field and find another ride. What a joke of a company! Honestly needs to be shut down !!!

Absolutely horrific service !!!!!! DO NOT USE !!!! Definitely not meet & greet, absolute rip off for money. You would be better dumping your car in a field for the time you're away on holiday. Left waiting at the airport and then when they sent private taxis to eventually get us we waited a further hour and a half for them to get our car our, left waiting with 2 young kids in a wet muddy mess of cars. absoulute cheek of them to ask for the extra £6 to get in the car park and then another £6 back. AVOID.

The service was fast and efficient. Very easy and smooth parking up, transfers and pick up. Will def use again

Official meet and greet car park…. The good, ok it’s close to the terminal but it’s certainly not a meet and greet service. You park your car in a lane, then go to the self service kiosks to deposit your key. When you get back, again to the self service kiosks to collect your key, then walk to find your car in the huge car park.

There’s no meet, and no greet, just a couple of staff milling about if you struggle with the self service machines.

The multi story car park is cheaper, equally close to the terminal and essentially offers the same service, other than you take your keys with you.

Felt like on streets of India. Mud dirt and rude people working in caravan that looks like drug pit. Waited 2h for pickup. Car covered in mud in and out. Avoid

The bad reviews on here are because people have not used the official Meet and Greet, (this website isn’t the real meet & greet) you must be aware when booking and use the APH or similar Man Airport booking. It’s made clear that your car is parked at the airport itself and you pay for that! We’ve used it so many times and it is fantastic, drive in and your car is quickly scanned, barrier opens and you are then directed to where to park by Airport employee. It a couple of minutes walk to the terminal, no buses, and key was ready and waiting in the lock box on our return with the parking bay number.
There are lots of dodgy parking around the airport, I worked at the airport for many years so I know! My review is to let people know to check who you are leaving your very expensive vehicle with and my 5* review is for Man Airport MEET AND GREET it’s that’s simple.
Don’t hang around when booking as prices increase daily as spaces fill up.

We arrived back into Manchester at 11.30pm to be told your car is down there. Took 30 mins to find it. Brand new car, only 3 weeks old. When we got into the car all the internal settings had been changed and mileage added. The following day, we saw the bad scratch on the boot and the whole car had been parked under trees as it was covered in sap and dust.you would expect that the money that they charge, that a car would be looked after. Leave at your own risk as it isn't one we will ever do again! Absolute disgrace
When contacting them to complain twice we were told to get in the queue.

The ‘car park’ is an un-branded mud pit in a rural backstreet that looks more like a scrapyard than a professional car storage service. The ‘office’ is a dirty caravan surrounded by junk and rubbish. The poor appearance fits the very poor service. Lost keys, lost cars, jammed in cars, broken pick up bus. Rude clueless angry staff. Health and safety nightmare. The website is a total lie.

So, you have choices, and choosing this is the wrong one no matter what your other choices are, you will be in awe at the muddy field you are presented with when you arrive and their state of the art facilities, a barrel fire and a caravan ala the movie snatch, (I didn't want a dag either)

The keys are kept in said dank caravan in a cupboard, in a plastic bag, so you don't need to worry about security, and the transport? Wow I guarantee you won't find better (maybe in Beirut) a delapidated mercedes Vito, which just got us there but on the way back they were kind enough to give us a near fireworks show just near the M56, and the incense they use in the van was beautiful, ever smelled burning Metal? it's devine at 1am.

All in all they tried to charge us £20 for being late (10 hour delay) even though WE HAD TO GET A TAXI....

so in summary, avoid. never ever even consider them, in fact email me an I will look after your car because I will be more reliable than this absolute sugar honey ice tea show of a company.

The 'car park' is bumpy scrub land/rubbish tip. Very disorganised as no one appeared to know what they were doing. Waited almost an hour to be taken to the airport while the staff just hid in their old beat up caravan which was surrounded by a lot of garbage. When waiting they lost the keys for another client and lost the car for the next. Spent all holiday worrying about the return and whether they have keys, car or if there would be damage. Everyone else who were using the 'car park' hated the experience. It's cheaper but you'll soon find out why.

Left my van there last week , cost £100 .
Returned to a 45minute wait with fuel that had been used and my van stinks of curry !
Never ever again ,absolute scum using people’s cars they have paid good money to keep secure.

My wife and I returned from our holiday on the 22 June. As I have used Meet and Greet at Manchester Airport quite a few times I knew the procedure for picking up our vehicle. The man at the key pick up was very pleasant and helpful in assisting me locate the vehicle. I loaded our luggage in the back of our Landrover discovery and checked the exterior of the vehicle. Everything was OK. I started the car and the low fuel warning light came on. I definitely didn't leave it without sufficient fuel to get us back to our house. I drove back to the office and informed the man there that my fuel gauge was indicating low fuel and I hadn't left it like that. He said" the vehicle had only been driven 6 miles in total since we dropped it off". I said " if this is correct then my fuel tank has been siphoned ". He dismissed this. I sent in a complaint in on the 23rd June and received a case number which told me that I would be contacted, I think it said within 10 days. On the 26th I was cleaning the back of the car and I noticed dog hair all over the rear loading compartment. We haven't got a pet of any sort. Not only had our car been used it had also transported an animal!. I filled in a second Meet and Greet complaint form and received a case number. It is now the 5th of July and I have still not received any contact. I have tried to call them twice but after waiting for a human for 20 minutes each time I gave up.
Lesson. If I or you do use this service, which in the past I've never had a problem with, photograph your dashboard reading. Milage, fuel reading etc. Then send it back to yourself via email or WhatsApp. This way you have a visual proof of the reading. If I had done this then I wouldn't be bothering going back to the Meet and Greet " helpline". My lawyers would be involved.
It's not the money I've lost in fuel. It's the cheek of the staff. Giving it back with low fuel so I had to call in to refuel so we could get back to our house but also using it to take their dog a walk!

Having liaised with my Meet & Greet colleagues, who have viewed your vehicle's tracking whilst it was with us, I am informed your vehicle was taken to our secure storage facility which is situated no-more than 2-miles away from the T2 Meet & Greet car-park. It would have been driven back along the same route to the collections area of the T2 Meet & Greet car-park.

Do not use. Over 1 hour wait to drop car off and another 1 hour wait for car to be returned.

Car was damaged on two panels on return.

Beware!

This is not the first time I have used the official meet and greet parking at Manchester Airport.
This time we had a dash cam fitted on our car,and also have the nissan car app.
When we arrived to drop the car off the staff were very helpful,and everything was straightforward.
On several occasions on checking the Nissan app on phone it showed the car was unlocked and the boot was open on several occasions.
We arrived back from holiday and collected the car about 2am,checked the car as best as we could in the dark and all seemed ok.
Noticed the dash cam wasn't connected to the car properly,eventually sorted that when we were home.
Viewing the footage(there wasn't any from the airport until they got to the secure carpark) where the cars get left.
Let's just say they have no respect for the cars as they were going rather fast and the car was bouncing over the bumps. This is not something we expected and we weren't happy.
On checking the car in the daytime it looked like a can of fizzy pop was all over the passenger side of the car.
We took pictures and emailed footage from the dashcam and made a complaint.
Received a reply a week later basically dismissing everything and were just asking staff to drive better and hopefully see us again
Personally would never use it again,and just use a car park where we park and take the keys

Very easy to use. Very helpful staff. Just drove up, was shown where to park and offered help with my bags from the very friendly car park attendant. Then handed my keys in to the electronic system and fortunately was shown how to do this to as I hate new technology lol!! Then was shown where to go to the airport. On arrival back it was simple, just showed my bar code and the key pod opened. Short walk to pick car up and easy drive straight out! It's quite pricey hence the 4 not 5 stars, but well worth the peace of mind and not having the hassle of train journeys or getting lifts! Will be using this for all of my airport journeys in the future!
