Overall it was great class. But because ai is changing so fast, I felt like best practices for some tasks have been shifted to different model/pipeline, which was not entirely covered in class. So the... See more

Refund policy is unreasonable

Refund policy is unreasonable. No prior notification of renewal. Autocharged and no refunds within a 14d window. Cant transfer the subscription either so Im just stuck with a subscription i cant use.

Too expensive

I took the design systems bootcamp. The teachers were good and explained things well. But I think the price is way too high for what you receive in return.

It was $875 for 18-19 sessions and there were around 12 of us in the class. So even if they pay their teachers great, Memorisely's profit margins must be huge!

Figma Variables Workshop

Thank you! Thanks to Caro and Zander for teaching me variables in Figma. I’ve struggled to grasp switching modes and the workshop was, full of energy and I’m now confident in using mode switching to design multi-mode systems.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Memorisely. My annual subscription was renewed without any prior notice, and the full amount of $300 AUD was deducted from my account without warning.

On the same day I noticed the charge, I reached out to request a refund, but was met with a cold, copy-pasted response citing a “no-refund policy.”

For a company that prides itself on teaching UX and building user-centric experiences, this behavior is unacceptable. Not sending a renewal notice before charging a large sum is a terrible user experience, and quite frankly, feels unethical.

I expected more transparency and basic courtesy from a brand that claims to care about the user. This is not just disappointing — it feels predatory.

Courses not loading, support useless

I have not been able to access any courses for the last 4 weeks, despite having a subscription. After pinging the support, i was told that they are implementing UI changes and the system will be running "Supa-Fast" . Yeah, 4 weeks later, paid for a learning experienced, got nothing. Support is no longer responding...

Unlawful refund policy

I had a really disappointing experience with Memorisely. My annual subscription renewed without warning, and when I contacted them on the same day to request a refund, they refused — citing a strict no-refunds policy in their terms.

UK consumers, take note: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to a 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases — including subscriptions — regardless of what the company’s policy says. Memorisely’s blanket “no refund” stance completely ignores this, which is not just poor customer service — it’s potentially unlawful.

Absolutely not worth the money.

This review is for the subscription service, not the bootcamps. I signed up because I wanted to learn UX/UI design. I paid for £170 for a year subscription yesterday and sat through the first class- on UX research today. It’s worthless. I immediately emailed asking to cancel my year long subscription and said I was happy to pay for the first month, since I had sat through a 20 minute ‘course’.

Their response:

Hi Heather,

I'm really sorry to hear that our product didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately, I’m unable to offer a refund. And, we bill on a yearly basis rather than monthly. That said, what I can do is cancel your subscription to prevent any future charges.

Let me know how you'd like me to proceed, and I’ll take care of it for you.

It’s a complete scam. I’m furious. Do not waste your money.

The website and the course look…

The website and the course look enticing (as you'd expect from a self-proclaimed UI/UX guru). I spent $328.42 for the annual access. I reached out to their support email several times over the course of 3 weeks and received ZERO responses. Good luck to anyone signing up to this course and expecting any sort of engagement or customer support. I cancelled and will be forced to place a charge back on their merchant account.
