Bought a candle after everyone on Instagram recommending (there mates) no better than a £5 aldi candle. Very disappointed to say the least. Beautiful packaging though, but I didn’t buy it for the packaging!

I ordered the ‘Envelope’ perfume from Memree, which arrived with a dented box and no cellophane wrapping. As this was my first order, I didn’t initially realise it was supposed to be sealed, but I flagged the damage immediately in my return form and even sent a photo to their customer service team. Unfortunately, instead of helping, I was repeatedly told that I must have opened or tampered with it, which isn’t true. I found the responses dismissive and frustrating, especially as I was polite, detailed, and transparent from the start. What’s worse, I later saw another Trustpilot review where a customer said they were allowed to return an opened perfume, so the inconsistency in how returns are handled feels unfair and unprofessional. I’ve tried to resolve this directly and even quoted my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but Memree refuses to acknowledge that the item was received in poor condition. I’ve since had to escalate the issue through Klarna. It’s a real shame because I loved the look and ethos of the brand, but this experience has completely put me off ordering again. I’d just advise other customers to be cautious, especially when it comes to returns or damaged packaging.

Lovely branding and packaging. I bought the discovery set as I was really curious what they smelt like and the reviews on Instagram are amazing. One person said they had two showers and went swimming and could still smell the scent. Envolope is a beautiful smell. Extremely similar to Scarlett poppy by Jo Malone which is my favourite purfume. So for slightly cheaper than Jo Malone I had my hopes up. However, after an hour I couldn’t smell it on me. I liberally sprayed it again as was seeing friends and they couldn’t smell it when I was telling them how I liked the smell. Also you get given a £15 off code for if you decide to purchase a full size perfume after trying your kink which I thought was a really good idea, however you only get two weeks to use the code and as the scents are sold out a lot of the time it would be quite difficult to actually use the £15 off, especially if the scent you like isn’t restocked in that two weeks xx

I bought Venus in Blooms a long time ago as a gift for my mother, but she absolutely hated the scent and it didn’t last longer than five minutes. After seeing all the hype around Envelope, I decided to give Memree another try, but honestly, it’s just awful. The smell is cheap and overly sweet, nothing special or sophisticated about it.

I sprayed it on and even asked my partner if he could smell anything. After sniffing my neck, he said, “Yes, and I don’t like it.” The scent disappeared within a couple of minutes, and all those people claiming they get asked what perfume they’re wearing must be exaggerating because that’s definitely not my experience. I won’t be trying my luck with this company again.

Their reviews are fake and they delete comments. I bought envelope because of excellent reviews but I don’t think any of them are real now after receiving the product. So disappointed!!!! Really poor sillage unfortunately.Really wanted to love it. I kept spraying the samples every 2 hours coz I could not smell it past that,just very faint and the smell is ok. To me it’s very juvenile, more for teenagers maybe . Smells like strawberry kool-aid or cheaper version on Tom Ford lost Cherry which I sprayed and compared and all I could smell was the Tom ford and not Memree.

Note to Memree team,don’t delete comments as a business because it’s good see good and bad reviews even best perfume out there have bad reviews. It would be good to see genuine comments and perfume lovers can make their own mind. I should have listened to my instinct when all the comments were 5 star on their website . One of my favourite perfumes is Armani Prive Rouge Malachite and guess what it has bad reviews too. It’s not necessarily bad to see negative reviews,use them and improve your product especially the lasting power. I was going to give it to my niece but what’s the point if it’s not going to last for £95.

Tried this after Molly Mae endorsed it on her vlog to later realise it’s cos it’s her pals company. Perfume is weak don’t waste your money. I’ve bought sun is up and late August they don’t last longer than the 30 seconds you spray them. The company won’t acknowledge this either so don’t waste your time emailing them like I did. What a waste of £200! Completely avoid!! Zara do stronger alternatives for sub £20.

I was really drawn to Sun Is Up by Memree — the branding and concept are beautiful, and the description sounded exactly like the kind of fragrance I love. Unfortunately, the scent itself was a letdown. Despite its high concentration (33% fragrance oil), I found it extremely faint, with very little projection or lasting power. It disappeared from my skin within 10-20 minutes, even after repeated tries in different conditions.

On the positive side, customer service has been friendly and professional so far. I received a kind and thoughtful initial response after sharing my feedback, and I’ve since followed up with a request to return the bottle for a full refund. I’ve not yet had a reply to that, but I’m hopeful they’ll come back to me soon and resolve things fairly.

Really hoping this can be turned into a more positive experience, as the brand clearly has a lot of heart behind it.

Edit (28/07/2025)-To Memree’s credit, their customer service has been warm, professional, and thoughtful throughout. After a bit of a delay in response, they did take my concerns seriously and kindly offered a full refund once I returned the bottle, even though it had been opened — something I really appreciated.

I’ve since noticed a few other reviews mentioning similar issues with this particular scent, so I’m hopeful the team will continue to look into it.

Overall, while this fragrance didn’t work for me, I can’t fault the way Memree handled my feedback. A shame it wasn’t a match, but I still think the brand has promise.

The perfume smells nice when you first spray it on, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to last longer than 5 minutes. Been wearing it a while and not had one person comment on the smell. Bought a much cheaper perfume recently and had loads of compliments

WOW! Tayla what a brand you have created. From the speedy delivery, BEAUTIFUL packaging, attention to detail with the sample to ‘test’ before you commit to opening the full size fragrance, to the product itself! Absolutely stunning! High end, long lasting, beautiful products! I most definitely recommend Memree!

I bought blooms in Venus - paid £95 and the smell just doesn’t last. Not one person has asked me what perfume I’m wearing. It’s absolutely not worth the money or the hype.

Not sure if I am missing something? Brought the on my way candle, lit it. Had it burning for half hour and my house smells like it’s on fire? Can not fault the beautiful packaging but really disappointed with the candle
