I rarely write reviews; but, in this instance, I felt that I had to. Unfortunately, the lowest rating that I can give is one star. But that is not even deserved. After being recommended by a friend, I contacted Mike Carr with regard to arranging a mortgage. We had a brief initial conversation upon which he requested some information. I emailed him the requested information. He did not get back to me. So, after a couple of weeks, I sent him a text, identifying myself and the recommendation and my email address. He messaged back. We discussed contact via phone. And then nothing happened. One day, two days, three days..........nothing. I phoned him, he didn't answer. I phoned the next day and left a message. No return call. Phoned the next day, did not answer. Here is the crux Mike; if you felt that you could not deal with the situation, or, even if you just could not be bothered, all you had to do was to say, "I cannot deal with your situation." Then, that would have been it, game over, no hard feelings, everybody moves on. But, to waste four weeks of someone's life is, to put it politely, unacceptable. My initial contact with Mike was on 22nd March; today is the 20th of April.

Exceptional service from start to finish as always. I was kept informed at every step of the process, taking all the burden away whilst giving me confidence.

We contacted this company with a view to obtaining a bridging loan which would enable us to purchase our ideal property prior to the sale of our existing home. They identified a bank who would provide the loan, a solicitor familiar with this type of transaction, and arranged insurance for our new property. It would be fair to say that without their help and guidance we would not have been successful in our house move.
