Do not take a policy with this company

Do not take a policy with this company. My mom passed away 10/2025 .She changed her beneficiaries in 2018 and we were all very aware of this. She changed from kids to the grandkids. We thought is was a great remembrance from grandma. They took 12 weeks to review claim because there had been a recent change of beneficiaries. I don’t consider 7 years recent. They determined the grands kids did get the money. Then all 11 of us were asked to call in and say we agreed. We all did so immediately. Following week we all received letters to have notarized . Jumped thru this hoop and received a letter asking how they wanted to receive money. My mom has been dead for six months and I believe they are trying to hold on to money as long as they can. They had no problem collecting monthly premiums.

They take almost 1% of the total value…

They take almost 1% of the total value of my annuity every year which was not disclosed to me. Yeah 20% "bonus" that partly gets clawed back every year. This was supposed to no penalty with annual withdrawals but it seems that was a lie. Don't get an annuity here....or any where really imho.
