I initially e-mailed the company and they were very helpful in letting me know about zoom lenses i was looking for. I wanted to do a part exchange deal and they got back to me straight away with an estimated price. I visited the store the following day and they couldnt have been more helpful. I ended up with a great part exchange deal which I was extemely happy with. They had a fantastic 20 percent off prices to boot! It was great to do business with them. Many thanks to Robert and Matthew in particular.

A great little company who will bend over backwards to help you. Always a fantastic, friendly service. They got me out of a hole for an airshow when Nikon let me down and for nothing. They look after their good customers very well. I can't praise them or thank Matt enough.

Sold a lens that failed almost immediately. Ended up paying half of the repair even though under warranty as Mifsuds felt that they had sold the lens too cheaply in the first place... Given that it didn't work it was not cheap at all. I now have no 300mm for the World Cup, relying on a loan from Nikon. I would not recommend this company for professional users.

I recently visited Mifsuds Photographic for the first time after a recommendation by a professional photographer during a Photography workshop.
A phone call beforehand to Matthew assured me that they would be interested in the gear I wished to trade in.
On inspection, the prices offered were competative and fair.
Whilst there I was able to try out and buy a near mint lens from the huge selection of new and used gear available, which was once again offered at a competative price.
Overall a friendly, Knowledgeable, family run, local business. Worth a visit to either the shop or the user friendly website.

Great service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have been a loyal customer since 1998, and would never go anywhere else for acquiring, or trading in my camera gear to upgrade in either the contemporary or retro direction. Matthew is extremely helpful and courteous, and all in all it is a great retail experience.

Following a very bad experience with Wex Photo Video I contacted Matthew at Mifsuds who, very promptly, answered my query, gave me a price for the camera and lenses I was looking to trade which was accepted. Shipped the goods to him, next day. He confirmed receipt and less than two hours later had inspected and confirmed the price with money on its way to me.

Brilliant shop. Kind helpful staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Would absolutely trust them and not need to go anywhere else. Although we have checked prices on the internet and Mifsuds are very competitive. If you can get to South Devon give them as visit, if not use the online shop.

Great shop with very friendly service. They offer great advice and have a lot of new and used stock. I was able to reserve a Canon R7 on the phone and pick up hassle free. I’m looking forward to going back!

Awesome service. Ordered a used lens late on a Sunday evening. Nervous about an expensive purchase but a discount code sweetened the deal. By 7am the next morning I had a personal email thanking me for my order, telling me I would receive it by Tuesday and wishing me well with it.
The lens arrived on the Tuesday very well packaged an in near immaculate condition.

Mifsuds is my local camera store so I have been using them for years to purchase new & used kit, as well as part-exchanging my own unwanted kit. The staff have always been very helpful and knowledgable.

I wanted to part-ex my long telephoto lens for a shorter second-hand one. I saw the one I wanted on the Mifsuds website at a great price, and arranged with Matthew to buy that while it was available and send my lens by post for evaluation as I was unable to get to the shop for a while. He was very helpful and flexible, and with the trade-in, I got a really good lens for a small price. Highly recommended.

I bought a nearly new second hand camera with a few accessories from Mifsuds. I messed up using the discount code, but Matthew sorted things out for me and made sure I got the best price. In total Mifsuds saved me around £600 off list, so very happy with the result. I'm looking for a used tepelphoto, so will definitely be going back to Mifsuds. Great service.

Honest review, first class friendly and professional service from this family run photographic retailer, I wanted to buy a top quality used camera in mint condition with a very low shutter count, well, I couldn't have gone to a better retailer than Mifsud's. I traded in my old entry level DSLR and two kit lenses for a very good price against the Nikon camera I wanted, which was in mint condition with a shutter count less than 8000. While I was in the shop, I enquired about a Macro lens and was given the Sigma 105mm to try out in the shop on my new camera. Three weeks later I decided to stretch my budget to buying the Sigma 105mm Macro lens from their website. I ordered it on the Saturday lunchtime and it arrived the following Tuesday as promised by their member of staff, I couldn't have asked for more and thank you for the surprise in the box as well.
I am so happy that I decided to buy from Mifsuds, they are absolutely brilliant. I shall definitely be buying from them again in the future, I highly recommend them.

I've been looking for a replace lens for some time after my aged one broke. Found one on here, telephoned and checked about availability and was directed to the website to order so no credit card details were handled by a person. Placed the order on friday with the expectation it might go out that day, which it did. Advised it should arrive monday, however was delighted to receive it saturday afternoon. Great service and really helpful on the phone.

Wonderful, friendly service from this family run photographic retailer, I was going to buy my camera as top quality used but after reading the reviews of the retailer here, seeing the favourable pricing (and bearing in mind, the current Canon cash back offer), I decided to stretch my budget to buying my camera from new stock. So happy that I did. My 5D Mk4 (mirrorless is still way over priced for the spec I wanted - maybe in five years time, eh?), was with me in less than 24 hours. I could not ask for more really. Thank you for the surprise in the box too 😊
My local independent could have taken a leaf out of Mifsuds' book and got my business but after not even calling me back, on two occasions, when they were possibly getting stock back in (yeah, I understand the is something of a stock issue with this model but at least give a customer an option!), you tend to look further afield for your new gear. As I said earlier, I'm happy that I did buy from Mifsuds. I think I'll be back for that mirrorless one day... in the meantime, there is a Sigma lens that I have my eye on.

Very,very poor trade in price, miles behind everyone else, but asks top price for second hand items.
Look around and find much better prices elsewhere.

I bought a Canon 300 mm 2.8 II lens, the condition stated its "mint minus", I was really happy when the goods arrived as it looked like brand new!

Reluctantly parting with my cherished photographic equipment, MIFSUDS offered me a very good deal. Much better than London Camera Exchange and not far off what Wex/Park were offering. I was able to go to their shop in Brixham (which is a treasure trove of a place if your serious & nostalgic about photography), complete the transaction and the money was in my account before I got home. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. A few years ago I made the mistake of selling a Len’s to Camera Jungle, it took some two weeks to receive my money.

Over the years I have dealt with numerous photo shops for new & used kit. Came to Mifsuds (Mathew in particular) to replace/upgrade lenses etc. From the first point of contact nothing was too much trouble, even with chats re advice over the phone. Ordered my gear but had to wait two weeks for disinvestment of funds to materialise. No problems, deposit paid, items held , delivered quickly & extremely well packed. Even revieved a 'folliw up email' asking if everyyhing was ok'...I live in Lancashire....but Mifsuds is now my go to shop!. Well done Mathew & the team...5+ stars all day long.
