I had used the Simplex sliding sash system 40 years ago on my first floor flat in London so knew how useful they are to enable cleaning and redecoration and needed them now for a Victorian property. So I was pleased to find Mighton were selling the kit at a very reasonable price. I phoned their help line to check that my windows were within the weight allowed and Donna was very helpful both before and after purchase. I ordered 9 kits the same day and they arrived the next. Superb quality all brass. Highly recommended

Just about everything I need as a conservation builder/decorator to repair 200 year old sash windows and even fit secondary glazing. Lead weights, cords, cleats, brass, brush pile, t track, router parts. Next day delivery always works unless the driver cant lift lead for 24 hours!! Great choice, great quality.

Despite being reasonably priced and answering the phone quickly, the company is not reliable. It failed four deliveries. It claims that its delivery service is normally very reliable. I cannot find any evidence on this forum to support this claim. Alison was quick to say that their next day delivery guarantee is not a next day delivery guarantee. Make of it what you want.

Update. Five days later and the company has been keen to resolve the issues, which they claim, were highly unusual. Communications did improve and the matter was finally resolved to some basic level of satisfaction.

The best customer services I've experienced in a long time - thanks to Hannah and Sue. Prices were slightly better than competitors which was what drew me in, delivery was good, but the customer services made me smile. I emailed a query about fitting bifolds and got a call back the next day offering videos, instructions and any help in a cheery and welcoming way. After the delivery, a part was missing so I emailed that evening and again the next day I got a cheery and proactive call confirming a supplier mistake and agreeing to resolve quickly - sure enough all was sorted in another day.

Donna was very helpful on my initial enquiries. Subsequent ordering with Kirsty was good. Next day delivery was excellent. Subsequent query about one item was sorted out very quickly. A good company to deal with.

Poor delivery experience. Paid £19.78+VAT for next day delivery on an order placed before 10am. The following day had messages from FedEx saying delivery would happen before 6pm. No show. Arrived the next day.

Contacted Mighton to invite them to refund the delivery charge, which they declined. Hid behind get out clauses in the terms and conditions.

On this basis, give the impression that customer experience and satisfaction is not a priority.

Second time buying from Mighton. Deliveries turned up as promised next working day. All good

Arrived a day late - this was a critical item that I needed.

I did phone Mightons office but got very poor feedback.

Rather disappointed in the customer service. I paid £19 for a before 12 delivery on Thursday and parts my delivery has still not turned up at time of writing on Sunday. Was in touch, on Thursday and was immediately met with an excuse that no deliveries are guaranteed before I had even stated what the problem was. Was promised it was on the van for end of day Thursday by Ryan. No show. Rang Friday and was guaranteed it would be there or ring them at 5 to chase. Rang back and they were closed at 5. Rang FedEx who informed us that they had not sent final part as packaging was damaged and that they had informed Mighton but Mighton had never bothered getting back to them and that the item was never loaded on to a van Thursday or Friday. So not sure how Ryan or his colleague, who guaranteed it would be delivered by the end of the respective days, even new it was on a van. This has totally thrown me out as it was a DIY project I had set time aside for but have totally lost that time and I might only be able to salvage it by buying the items locally. Poor showing Mighton.
