I purchased a large Lounge Pug Sofa and Footstool two years ago (I am the only user of this said Sofa and Footstool and I am not overweight). I do not often use the Footstool but I have had to top up the Sofa 5 times over the last 2 years as it loses its volume very quickly and I end up sitting on the floor. I informed Mikabou of this before the guarantee ran out but to no joy (last communication 10/01/2023) and although I am fully aware that bean bags need fluffing and topping up and that bean bag companies advise that this is normal, fluffing up does not help in this case and obviously with the cost of frequent top ups, I regret this expensive purchase and would most definitely not recommend Mikabou product. My advice is to stay well away from Mikabou products and find a business (and attitude) that warrants your custom.

I purchased a huge bean bag sofa. It arrived quite quickly, in 5 huge boxes. No instructions inside, a large piece of material sawn as a bag with a paper clip atrached to a flimsy zip which gives you the feeling that it can break anytime. It did not come cheap either, £242.85. So, I had to empty all beans in the that huge bag. It was not comffy at all. It looked stiff, big, like a pile of rubbish. I did not receive any paper work with, nor instructions. My son got urticaria after a few minutes contact with that material- not sure if it was tested for hazard substances.
I emailed the company for a return arrangement. It was all agreed for £40. I was so worried, I accepted the return for £40 which I don't think it is right, as on their website it is mentined that if the item is not up to expections, than Mikabou will bear the costs of returning. Now, I asked if the item should be sent like that, or back in boxes. The answer was - sent everything in boxes. So imagine filling plastic bags with beans with a small container. It took me about couple of hours. I breathed in all that toxic smell of that material the beans are made of. If I would knew about it, I would never purchase this item. Never recommend it to anyone.
