Do not hesitate! Book Now! 100% recommend Steve Carr c/o Mindcanyon

I have just attended (Dec 2021) a one day (spread across two half days) City & Guilds accredited course with Steve Carr c/o Mindcanyon called 'Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Interventions' all I can say is WOW ! Firstly, Steve is personable, open and approachable. He is clearly very passionate about the subject matter and this is clearly demonstrated by his delivery technique. The course was (surprisingly!) upbeat. I 100% encourage anyone reading this review to not hesitate and book a course NOW! The course was handled sensitively and he generously spoke of his own experience in this subject. When attending the course you are categorically in a SAFE SPACE, have no concerns there please.

Suicide First Aid course

Today I completed a 2-half day course on Suicide First Aid. I felt the course was well delivered and Steve created a safe space for a nice size class of 8. With the varied backgrounds we were able to engage in some terrific dialogue and exchange of views. The slides were highly informative and in some ways actually better than the workbook provided. Overall I came away with most of my learning objectives met and hope that by keeping in touch with Steve I can get the other questions answered. Here's to stopping suicide one conversation at a time!

Time to talk about mental health

Today when we are celebrating the #TimetoTalk event in mental health, I have attended a wellbeing and mental health workshop at Mind Canyon and I must say that I have learned a great deal. I will be able to spot the signs of poor mental health and will be able to do something about it. Thank you for all the knowledge.

Steve Carr is one of a kind

Steve Carr is one of a kind. Not only does he have lived experience of huge emotional and practical challenges, he also has the professional know how and the natural ability to reach, support and guide those needing help. He is great at public speaking, working with groups and on a 1-to-1, and can cover a whole range of subjects. I highly recommend working with Steve.

Go Steve!

I met Steve a couple of years ago when he was just starting out with the Mindcanyon idea. It is lovely to see that he has made his dream a reality and helped lots of businesses to improve the mental health of their workforce. Go Steve!

A Gem of a Speaker

It's rare to find a speaker who gets the balance right but Steve Carr is one such gem. He listens as much as he talks, delivering essential information whilst making the time to involve audience members in a genuine dialogue. He knows his subject matter thoroughly but is open to learning from his audience as much as teaching them. Most importantly of all, he cares. Deeply. Having experienced his own mental health challenges, this topic is his passion and it shows. As well as being skilled in his craft, Steve is one of the most engaging, genuine and relatable speakers I've ever listened to. If you are thinking of hiring him to present or attending one of his workshops, don't hesitate! You won't be disappointed.

A great mental health & well-being trainer

Steve is a great trainer for this subject, he has a real understanding of the topic and it's clear he cares. His aim is to help people understand the subject matter, themselves, and others - not to tick boxes.

A really good manner, great rapport with the attendees, and a properly nice bloke.

Mindcanyon and the founder Steve Carr…

Mindcanyon and the founder Steve Carr deliver tremendous work to the society and people in need.

The way the trainings are created and the value of the information is second to none. Proffesional heart centered transformational work.
I highly recommend to anyone to take part for themselves as there is still lack of support and understanding of mental wellbeing in our society and how we can overcome it.

Highly Recommended

Steve is an inspirational coach and is able to deliver his mental health workshops with passion and a genuine empathy for all the delegates.

He has the natural ability to make everyone feel at ease and make them look at their own mental health and put workable strategies in place as well as giving people the skills to enable them to work alongside employees and team members to support within the workplace.

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to add value to their business. For a small cost, when you weigh it up on balance, his workshops will give your business invaluable tools to empower the workforce!

Business is all about people...

Business is all about people and not just the people we serve but the people we work with. That is why it is so important to look after 1 yourself and 2 your staff/people

I was lucky enough to have attended one of MindCanyons Wellbeing In The Workplace courses last week which focused on just that

It was a real education in wellbeing and mental health and what we need to do as employers and as staff to stay well so that we can keep serving and helping our customers and clients
I learned a lot about myself and what I thought wellbeing and mental health is plus I was given some really useful and pretty much essential tools on how to look after mine and my staff's wellbeing

Thanks, Steve keep doing what you are doing because it is REALLY needed in today's society
