There is no bigger waste of time

If I could rate less than 1 - I would. Over the past week, I have spent over 6.5 hours trying, with no luck to resolve an issue. Not only are the customer service agents utterly useless, their AI answering system just guesses what you need.

Despite telling the system several times what I need - it routes me to the wrong department every single time. Resulting in even more of life wasted.

Agents do not have a good understanding of their policies, system, nor diabetes care management. Never have I dealt with a company where incompetence runs so rampant. It’s to the point where it feels as if instead of training agents in how to help people, they get a course in weaponized incompetence. If it weren’t medical equipment that I need to survive, I’d rather drive splinters under my fingernails than call their “help” line again.

Not receiving supplies in a timely manner

My last order of insulin pump supplies, including extended infusion sets, was placed on April 10th. Today is June 2nd, and I have still not received them despite several phone calls to customer service. Because of that, I have been put in a position where I have been wearing the same infusion set for OVER FOUR WEEKS! This is not supposed to happen! My question to MiniMed is this: how long will it be before I start getting law enforcement involved? Ridiculous.

The products are great when they work…

The products are great when they work BUT when you need tech support (which you will), expect to wait for HOURS on hold and more than likely no one will ever answer. The only way to get any signs of life from Minimed is to fill out an email contact form on the website and in a day or so someone will respond with some snarky reply (and no name on the sender or sign off). It's appalling that a medical company can disregard the basic needs of their customers.

sorry customer service

This has to be the worst customer service from Minimed on the face of the EARTH. They put you on hold where you can wait hours and still never talk to a human. There is no customer service here. Extremely DISAPPOINTED !

Since going to Minimed the customer…

Since going to Minimed the customer service in 2026 is apalling. Siting on phone takes hours. Many hours. You leave your number for callback and don’t know if it will be hours days or weeks. Yes. One of my callbacks came two weeks later after I gave up and solved it myself. Not what you want as a diabetic. Now they have changed their support line to AI. No one else gets the AI support right. They won’t either. What is stupid is they give 5 options for other people to enter a selection so they are directed to the correct department. Then the expect me to talk to AI. Everyone is jumping to AI in a hurry and not making sure it works. My life is at stake. When I call it isn’t an emergency but it is important. Most of the time no matter who I call AI doesnt understand what I am asking, details, etc. over and over I have to rephrase, or repeat. You ask to talk with someone and insists it can help and do a better job. It will someday but how these are being deployed with force and little testing I am not willing to participate.
When I refuse they will make me hold for days so I can tell them what I need then theythrow me in another queue and wait several more days to get the help I need. The number selection directing my calls worked. AI doesn’t and I refuse to talk to AI. So I guess I will be flooding their queue until they find an intelligent lead of the organization that has at least half a brain to not copy what everyone else is doing - things that don’t work - and find someone that really wants to invest in fixing their customer service. If you don’t believe me look at the other complaints.

Awful Service

The products are excellent and five star.
Customer support is the worse I have ever experienced and from my first interactions to two years down the line it gets no better. For a medical equipment supplier this is appalling.
They have never got a scheduled delivery right once, from the delivery of the pump, it was late for my planned installation and then they sent two is a prime example of their incompetence. My delivery plan is never correct or anywhere near to the correct schedule. It just causes stress abd anxiety.
On my last contact the agent even said their customer service was appalling.
There is no UK stock of consumables and they come from Belgium.
I am going to ask my NHS trust / NICE to put pressure on the company to have effective customer service.
As a company they must try harder when supplying vital equipment.

Called from a healthcare clinic…

Called from a healthcare provider clinic to follow up on patient paper work. Was transferred 3 times. The final transfer the lady who transferred me said she was connecting me to the rep for Alaska and had confirmed she was available. I was then on hold for over 20 minutes and someone on the minimed side hung up the phone.

Still searching for signs of…

Still searching for signs of intelligent life at Minimed. I again asked for an update on the infusion sets I need, since they ignored the last request. I am again being told that they can only ship them every 90 days per my insurance....yet insurance has no info on this "rule." Minimed advised my last shipment was 12/26/2025 making 90 days 3/28/2026. That is not 90 days. That is over 90 days based on ever calendar I look at. So now, they claim since the 28th falls on a weekend, it will ship Monday. Thank you minimed for continuing to hold me hostage and cause undue stress. You have made my life diabetes unbearable
