Very Disappointed in product supposed "durability".
Sanded & varnished wood floors. I had always trusted the Minwax brand, BUT I used the high gloss polyurethane, which advertises as being "durable". & yeah my floors were done about 4 yrs ago, BUT now it seems the high gloss is peeling off. My floors look terrible. Since floors done # yrs ago, I do NOT have receipt but I did send company the UPC code from the can. So maybe floors were sanded & varnished less then 5 yrs ago. My BF was contractor in NY so he knows how to sand & apply varnish. Ironically on top of can, was small like pamphlet attached & inside all explanation in Spanish! Weird. Anyway I have contacted the company & supposedly now they did not see my email of complaint. & now my floors look like heck! 6-30-20 Update: Minwax is truly being Difficult in regards to this matter. I sent them UPC code off varnish can & it advertises "Durable" which IT IS NOT! We are 2 seniors; no kids to scuff up the floor or varnish & again the varnish is dissipating & it seems my floor need to be re-sanded & re-varnished. I would NOT recommend Minwax high gloss urethane to anyone!!
