The Fake 4-Star Hotel

**Miramor Garden Resort - 4 Star Hotel**

The star rating of this hotel is questionable. I would rate it a maximum of 3 stars. It raises the question of whether they assign the stars themselves. My family and I (a group of four) stayed here for a vacation, and I will share our experience from this perspective. An important lesson to learn about Turkish hotels: **Do not trust their star ratings.**

**Pros:**
+ The staff is generally good and helpful, as is expected of them.

+ There is an average-sized pool available for swimming at designated times.

+ A small stage/event area is present, with multiple music events hosted every evening.

+ The air conditioning in the room is effective and keeps the room cool.

+ There are many playful cats around the resort, which can be quite enjoyable.

**Cons:**
- The rooms are small. For a 4-star hotel, they should be larger, especially for a family of four.

- The bathroom ventilation is extremely noisy, almost unbearably so.

- There is no soundproofing, and the walls are very thin. You can often hear your neighbors, the constant walking in the halls, and the opening and closing of doors. The evening events with loud music are also audible in the rooms, which can make sleeping difficult. Fortunately, the events end at 11 PM.

- There is only one power socket in the entire room. For a family, this can make charging devices problematic.

- There is only one room access card. If some members of your party go shopping while others go to the beach, coordinating without Turkish mobile data can be challenging. The reception does not provide extra access cards to tourists.

- The food is repetitive, with minimal rotation. While some new desserts may appear, they often taste bad. The food is generally bland and tasteless, becoming tiresome after three days.

- The staff has very limited English proficiency and difficulties understanding Russian, which is commonly spoken in Turkey due to it's history.

- If you run out of toilet paper, it can be a challenge to get it replaced. The staff often forgets to restock it, and I had to request it twice within 1.5 hours before it was finally replaced, as they do not provide toilet paper at the reception.

Final take:
I would not recommend this hotel and it's services!

Avoid at all costs

It, and its sister hotel (Miramor hotel and spa) are a scam hotels. The hotels rate as a 3 star, at best. The food was generic and bland. The rooms were run down, tvs broken, minibar none functional, curtains entirely insufficient, etc.
They even upgraded us because I made a fuss.
But even the "nice" rooms were just worthless.
Staff will harass you to buy addons and management will gaslight and outright lie to you about everything. It took me over 5 hours to negotiate a refund for the days we would not be staying there. We had had enough after 2 days and checked into a different hotel.
Avoid no matter how cheap or appealing pictures look. Additionally, be aware, majority of positive reviews are fake. We regret not doing more research. Instead trusting bookingDOTcom 5 star rating - who also proved completely useless when we asked them for help.
IfI could give a lower score, I would.

completely bad hotel

we had booked 3 family rooms and 1 standard room, But we only get 1 family room and 2 standard rooms, where the last room, we had to pay 150 euro more for a room that we already paid for with Travellink. they say it is a 4 star hotel but it is only 2 stars in my view, it was really bad food and same food all the time. the hotel was not good clean either.
stay away from this hotel because they don't keep what they promise you, there were many other people besides us who were unhappy with their service
(STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL)
