Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers! all the positive feedbacks are probably fake. I had a contract booked over fone and due to my weak german I was trapped in their high cost contract. Before the start of contract, withon the period of cancellation itself Is ent them letters and email asking to cancel. But they didnt do anything rather started my contract and cancelled my old one. I still paid the consumption for first year and second year used check24 to cancel it and get previous provider back. Now they sent bill for 2nd year where the consumption is lower than year one but the total bill is more than double the first year. I still apid the amout for the consumption but per unit calculation using the first year bill. then I receive letter from their lawyers and presented then proofs of my previous cancellation and they can’t help either. Because they understood that Mivolta was at fault by not cancelling my contract 2 years back itself. But i still receive letter from this fraud company and I am now going to make a complaint in the consumer court. Enough of this fraud company and their gimmickie sale over telephone

I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional and unreliable company as Mivolta. Since signing my contract in May 2024, they never delivered electricity to my apartment. I contacted customer service countless times—every time I was told the issue would be resolved “soon,” but nothing ever happened.
To make things worse, I had to switch to the local provider SWB just to get electricity at all, while Mivolta continued to charge me for a service they NEVER provided. That’s not just bad service—that’s borderline fraud.
After months of frustration and broken promises, I had to demand the cancellation of the contract and a full refund. Even that required legal pressure.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Mivolta. Completely incompetent, dishonest, and indifferent to their customers.

Ich habe noch nie ein derart unprofessionelles und unzuverlässiges Unternehmen erlebt wie Mivolta. Seit Vertragsbeginn im Mai 2024 wurde kein Strom an meine Wohnung geliefert. Ich habe den Kundenservice unzählige Male kontaktiert – jedes Mal wurde mir versprochen, das Problem werde „bald“ gelöst. Passiert ist nichts.
Noch schlimmer: Ich musste mich schließlich an den örtlichen Grundversorger SWB wenden, nur um überhaupt mit Strom versorgt zu werden, während Mivolta weiterhin Geld für eine Leistung kassiert hat, die nie erbracht wurde. Das ist nicht nur schlechter Service – das grenzt an Betrug.
Nach monatelanger Frustration und gebrochenen Versprechen blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, als die sofortige Kündigung des Vertrags und die Rückerstattung meines Geldes zu fordern – selbst das musste ich rechtlich durchsetzen.
Wer seine Zeit, sein Geld und seine Nerven schonen will, sollte einen großen Bogen um Mivolta machen. Ein völlig inkompetentes, unehrliches und kundenfeindliches Unternehmen.
One of the worst energy suppliers imagineable
This company is probably one of the worst energy suppliers to have ever existed. I canceled my contract more than 2 years ago, I did not get a final invoice. I tried to contact them FOR MONTHS, I seeked help by the verbraucherschutz but Mivolta is not responding, no matter what. Now, after more than 2 (!!!!) years, I get a bill. Not named 'final bill' or 'Sorry for the worst service imaginable', no, it is just 'bill'. After more than 2 years. I wish I could go back in time to prevent me from ever beginnning this contract. I would happily pay a little more for the energy and save myself endless hours of anger.
And what is up with trustpilot, too? You guys are supporting this scam by not deleting those obvious fake commentares? Hella disappointing. I thought trustpilot is a legite site but this is just sad. Shame on you!

This company has given me depression ever since they called me to be their customer. l dont understand why they take advantage of people like that. You have intensionaly put me in a huge dept and worse your customer care is horrible. Please allow me to terminate my contract because l am tired of your bad services. Be warned , dont ever allow them to make contract on the phone with you.

Horrible Customer service and false information
My experience with this company never gets better. After they contacted me without my consent and I tried to reach them several times I put up a review on this website. As a response to my review (after not responding to multiple emails that I had written) they sent me an email with a fraudulent document claiming that I gave them consent to contact me in 2020 (even though I did not have my current contact details in 2020) and that if I did not take down my review they would pursue legal action against me. I replied to their email proving to them that the information they have is fraudulent and of course they stopped responding to my emails. It’s very disappointing that you would use false information to threaten legal action and at the same time claim that customer service is priority. I would highly recommend not signing up for the service of this company due to their highly unresponsive and unprofessional behavior. I have accepted my fate and I’m stuck with them until 2026 but if anyone has a choice (unlike me) run as far away as possible.
UPDATE: I did receive a document as specified in the comment from MiVolta but the document was false as mentioned in my review. It is not possible for me to have given that information and I have still not received (Its been over 3 weeks) a response about how they got the false document. I do not believe the issue was taken seriously or even resolved as I have not received any response from the customer service after I told them their document was false.

I contacted the Costumer-Service since they had made a mistake in my invoice. Miss Anna Horsten from the CS was very helpful and managed to find a solution for the mistake leading to overpayment during the call. I recieved the new invoice within minutes.

Worst electricity supply company
I got a call from a random person asking for my name, as I continued to speak they tried to to get my electricity meter reading and my meter number and they stick me a contract of 2 years. Now I've moved out of the country and I tried to cancel the contract through their website but they didnt reply or anything through email now I'm getting the bill for 3 months for which I'm not using the any resources.

the worst energy and gas company! extremely expensive! they make false promises that they are cheaper than other companies, i don't even stay in my apartment for work and pay more and i didn't get any money back for using less energy. impossible to talk to this company. i just don't recommend this company at all. im just waiting to finish my contract to go back to my old Company

I'm very pissed and disappointed
I've done my best to contact them before the end of October, to stop both my gas and electricity contracts as I was leaving my flat, and Germany, at that time.
After posting here my disappointment, I got a return from them and thought it was all settled, but it seems not, as I'm still withdrawn from my monthly amounts this month. I'm really angry.
I do not recommended them at all, and I'd like to ask for the refund of the two months I was not in the flat!

I got wrong letter about bill. You are saying that I have to Pay 444 Euro. On the other, I had paid 119 euro monthly in January 2023 and February 2023. From April 2023 to October 2023, I had paid 80euro monthly. In November 2023, I had paid 138euro. According to this, I have paid around 1000euro. Now you have deducted 444euro separately in November 2023. you are saying that you are deducting 2022 pending bills. But I don’t understand that I have too much paid in 2023. so that you can cover 2022 November too. I don’t understand what’s going on ? and you had sent me letter with wrong meter reading. I want to cancel my contract with you. Moreover, I want my money back which you had deducted from my account. Otherwise, I have to take Legel action against you.
