Couldn't be bettered

I was going to use Vodafone but their website kept crashing, so I searched for another company. Having never used this type of site before I was a little sceptical about getting my money. This site was first class - it arrived on the Monday, on Tuesday I got an email to say it had been received and when I checked my bank account on Wednesday, the money had already been transfered.

Super service - highly recommended

Quick service - no messing around

Mobile Phone Exchange did everything they said they would - right down to giving the amount of money offered online after receiving the phones. We'd use them again without any qualms.

Fantastic!

Not only did they offer the best price, but the phone was posted, recieved by Mobile Phone Xchange and the payment was in my account within 4 working days. Much quicker than I had imagined.
I've used this company to sell 3 of my previous mobile phones - I've always got a great price and have never had any issues.

Speedy and Trustworthy

Sold my old sony ericsson for £12, better off with cash in my pocket then sat in a drawer. It was 3 yrs old so wasnt expecting a fortune. Kept up to date on status and paid quickly. Very happy with the service.

If I was going to sell a new phone I would use ebay to guarantee a good return....but I buy a phone to last...I dont just jump on the next apple band wagon because its soo amazing! Pah!

Gave what they said on the tin

I sold a Nokia E71 & E63 and got exactly what they offered. Printed the label myself and sent the phones in jiffy bags. Didn't bother insuring them as was £60+ for the both of them. Chose the company as would pay into my paypal account and I don't like idea of waiting for cheques or giving bank details. E71 was credited within a couple of days and the E63 took a few more than that (bank holidays?) The E71 was perfect and the E63 had small scuff on screen but I got exactly what they offered. I would use them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I recently sent in my apple iPhone 3GS 16G to this company and they quoted me £104 if in full working order. It only had minor scratches and a tiny crack which you can barely notice and the volume button is missing. However, I expected to get minimum of £60 for it. After posting it and waiting almost two weeks to hear from them I sent them an e-mail asking to confirm they have received the phone and if they could let me know the quote. I got a "template" e-mail back saying 'sorry you are not satisfied with the quote given and that they would offer me only £40' If I wanted the phone returned to me they incur a fee of £10 which I am not prepared to pay. Nor did they make it clear that they charge customers for this service. I did not even know the quote until I received the e-mail so they must get a lot of e-mails from customers who are not happy with the quote if they are using it as a template!

In reply to this e-mail I let them know I was not happy with this and to revise it again without using the template email to reply to me. They have since replied stating that they could not give any further money as they needed to replace the broken button. I am sure it only costs pennies to replace the button. They only seem out to get as much profit as possible. Today I received only £20 via cheque instead of the £40 quoted. I have e-mailed them yet again and am waiting to receive the other £20 still. I have had no response as to if they are even sending this yet.

My friend also had an iPhone 3GS 16G which was in the same condition as mine bar the button and received £80 from Envirofone so why is it that just a button reduces the value by £40-£60 with this company!!?

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before using them as all I have read is bad reviews. DO NOT use this company. They are a con! I will be writing this same review on all the sites I can find to try and steer other potential customers away from this business. Their customer service is terrible. They should make it clear to customers that there is a charge of £10 if they wish for the phone to be returned and they should reply to each individual e-mail personally.

For those of you that are interested they do actually have two twitter accounts which are @MPXuk and @MobilePhoneXchange. If we use this to complain in our tweets then other people will see and not use them.

Dont use them.......

sent my sons Sony Ericsson after been quoted £107.00. However, after many emails they quote the phone was never received. Having recorded the delivery and questioned them about having actually signed for package, they now claim they had received the package but the packet was empty (no handset).
We have managed to use the tracking device which was still in use on handset and shall be sending our proof of this been a fraudulent company to trading standards as they still deny handling/received handset which evidently is not the case.
I'm surprised they believe they can actually continue trading with such unethical and underhand deception to unsuspecting and goodwill on customers behalf's.
Watch this space, better still watch watchdog or similar as that is the reality for these crooks....
.

Currently trying to resolve matter with Post office resolutions, not a good service nor an expected outcome.
I do not recommend Mobilephonexchange, nor do I approve them having trading

It's a scam

I decided to use mobilephonexchange to trade in my phones as they were offering the best price on the comparison sites. I was quoted £41 for the Sony Ericsson Mini Pro and W980i models, however upon receiving my phones this was dropped down to £10 claiming they hadn't received the Mini Pro but also strangely that the Mini Pro had a pin lock on (which is it..?). So now I have to either accept £10 for my two phones that mysteriously became one, or pay £10 to have my W980i returned (which was originally quoted at £6). So it's a win win situation for mobilephonexchange and a £31 loss for me. I would advise people to avoid this site as they only quote the best prices to
lure you in then drop them later for any reason they feel like giving.
