Tyre warning ⚠️ light
Came on this afternoon. I popped in Derry City Strand Rd Branch without an appointment and was seen straight away.The young mechanic put air in all tyres and showed me how to reset my display and all at no charge... TOP CLASS you have a customer for life 👏 .. white scirocco

Worker at Larne modern tyres nipped two brand new tubes when fitting them due to not being trained up properly, they said they would replace them with new tubes but only repaired the tubes and reused them. When I asked to see the ones that they damaged they said they bind them and would not show them to me. I went to a different garage and asked them to check condition of the tubes they were the tubes I supplied patched up and refitted.

Huge thanks to all the team in Castlereagh Belfast depot. Although all the fitters were working on jobs. I was taken straight away, for fitting 2 tyres. Very quick, friendly, team.
Have been using Quick-fit mostly for our 3 car family. With better value and good choice of tyres, I will use them again.

Dundrum Modern tyres, were extremely rude and ignorant. They wouldn’t tell me what was wrong with the car or what they had done all they had to say was the price. I the got an email saying my service was booked for the next month instead, although I had already gotten it done. They are scammers

We are elderly folk who had a flat wheel last Sunday on our way back north from a funeral in Co. Mayo. We were just outside Enniskillen & our car was recovered to Modern Tyres who agreed to open up on a Sunday and help us out. The young man, Patrick arrived in no time & two new rear tyres later we were on our way after a very reasonable call out fee. Thank you Patrick & Modern Tyres for a great service! You made two old folk very happy!

TALLAGHT BRANCH -Easily the worst company and staff to deal with. Called in and ordered two tyres for my company car. Told it would be 2 days to get the tyres in. Got a call to drop in and get the tyres on. Went to the branch, waited for 40mins, they took the tyres off but then told me they ordered the wrong brand tyre and put the old tyres back on a said come back in a few days. Rang numerous times to see had the tyres come in. 2 weeks later after numerous calls they finally got them in. They told me to call down straight away and get them fitted. Almost an hour waiting watching two of the lads stand around talking. When I asked the man how long more I will be he told me to have patience and he will get to me when he is ready. The man was dog ignorant and not one bit apologetic about taking 3 weeks to sort two tyres and leaving me waiting for so long.
I walked out and will get the tyres elsewhere. Useless service from start to finish. Stay well clear

Good prices but staff let down by being overworked, long queues and poor IT systems that just create unnecessary problems for them and customers when web bookings/orders go missing! About time the owners dip hand in pockets and invest in their business.

I purchased a battery from Halfords who couldn’t fit it due to it needing programmed when fitted (Audi a3), modern tyres, boucher road fitted the battery for me 10 minutes before closing time when it was very busy for only £10. Would highly recommend thanks lads.

Booked online to have 4 new tyres fitted. Money was paid but no confirmation email ever came.
Tried to use the online “Contact Us” portal but it continually threw up error messages.
Phoned the depot and they told me just to wait and to come on in on the day I had booked.
Arrived at the depot to be greeted by a member of staff telling me that they’re nothing to do with the online business and that he couldn’t help. Showed him the order on their website and he still said it was nothing to do with him. Also told me there was no manager in today so I would have to go to a different depot where a manager was working.
Eventually another staff member came over and confirmed my order on their computer. Now have at least a 40 minute wait before they will even see me.
Then , having waited for an hour for my car to be seen, they took a tyre off then told me that they don’t have the tyres in stock.
Depot also won’t give me a refund, again saying that they’re nothing to do with the online part of the business.
Terrible customer service and no communication between the different parts of the business.
I’ve been a repeat customer for years but will be finding somewhere new the next time I need to get tyres.

My mechanic informed me that I needed my rear wheels aligned. I went to Modern Tyres Enniskillen to get this done. My mechanic told me at my next service that there was significant wear on the inside of my tyres and they’d need to be changed. I took the car to Carryduff tyres to get this done and they told me I should get my alignment checked. I watched. Apparently the alignment had never been done! I’m livid and won’t go near Modern Tyres again.

I brought my Peugeot Car to Best Drive Dundrum , Dublin following an NCT test on the 11th of October for two visual failures.
Best drive Dundrum booked me in with a quick turnaround of an hour to fix the car.
Delighted with the service that these small problems were fixed I rebooked
the NCT test and was then scheduled for Sat the 25th of October which resulted with an identical fail .
I was presented with the same visual problems that the car had failed the last test on .I asked the mechanic at the NCT center and he said they were never repaired and the steering is heavy and you can obviously feel the mechanical issue.
I returned to Best Drive Dundrum for an explanation.
They didn't explain, offered to pay for the re-test and I've been sitting here at the office over two hours now without my car being seen. Other cars have come in after me and have since been seen.
I'm appalled.The mechanic on duty is sitting behind the desk while the young apprentice seems to be doing the work.
In conclusion, following making the complaint it took three hours before the mechanic who was sitting behind the counter accepted my car to fix the problem. It only took 20 minutes.
I'll miss the NCT today and other appointments as a result.
Not an experience I'll be willing to repeat.

Ballymena modern tyres ___amazing, two tyres burst so I phoned the branch and Vanessa was brilliant she helped me so much, she got a member of her staff to come out and sort me out and the tyre fitter was so fast straight at it, his name was val, took tyres off in no time, on road within 20 mins, Vanessa amazing service from your team, thanks so much 👍😁

Had an unfortunate blow out while on a day trip to Londonderry. The Strand Road branch were incredibly helpful, sorted us out very quickly despite the garage being very busy, and they were incredibly good value for money.
Brilliant service, would highly recommend them

Couldn't be more helpful - had a flat tyre when on holiday on the north coast - went to the Coleraine branch - everything sorted quickly and with a friendly smile Thank you Modern Tyres!

When your in for a tyre service and say the back offside rear is showing a tyre pressusor is reading low instead of fixing the nail in the tyre they simply pit air in and say they were all low. Your job is to make sure people Tyre are roadworthy.

AVOID this place car failed MOT on handbrake not working on o/s rear and excess handle travel there Limavady branch charged £290 for the repair and still handbrake has excess travel the same as before and complained and there branch manager was rude and cheeky on the phone and very unprofessional complained to there head office and didn't even get a reply

My other half was employed by these guys in their admin office in Enniskillen and subsequently let go at 11 months with no reasoning given at all, no right to appeal.. bare minimum provided in writing.. she’s still none the wiser a month later and all communications ignored. All reviews up to this point was positive, no misconduct at all… clearly using the loophole in NI that unless you’re employed a year you’re unprotected. Terminated just after Christmas with a 2 year old to provide for… great company!!! I would seriously consider and think twice before giving them your business

Mobile tyre fitter in portadown, blocked a one way system around a hospital at 8.30 in the morning. When he was asked to move the van he was very rude and said to drive back the one way system in reverse he hadn’t finished Training of staff needed badly. Yous are lucky I didn’t move it for him

Called at Ballymena Branch with slow puncture, needed new tyres anyway, Stephen fixed puncture to let me drive car as tyres had to be ordered. Tyres arrived few days, and were fitted in quick time. Highly recommend these guys, nothing was a problem. Peter and Stephen, always welcoming and friendly, guys done a great job. One happy lady driver.
