Moleskine should be ashamed of the treatment of their customers. I made an order two months ago for two diaries that I have not yet received. I have had to continuously email customer care for an update or a refund, to which I have either been given a vague response saying that they are waiting for information from the courier or I have not received a response at all. I requested to speak to a senior member of staff, which was ignored. It is appalling to think that this company would take money from customers, fail to deliver the product and not provide a refund.
I would definitely not recommend buying from Moleskine's website. I've ordered 4 weeks ago and still haven't received any tracking number.. called 2 times to be told that my order is ready for shipment and they don't know what's holding it. The worst is I can't even cancel it. I love these products , but I've never seen such ridiculous customer service. Really disappointing.
Well, where to start... I have used Moleskine notebooks for the last 5-6 years. I buy them whenever I find nice new design, or just finish my previous notebook. What a surprise I got when I was travelling and purchased the last Moleskine Pro Notebook from Zurich Airport. When I opened it up 2 days afterwards, I found out that the pocket is missing the textile strip is not glued. So i immediately contacted customer service and send them all the necessary information, including the quality control number and even the proof of purchase, which I had luck to be keeping.
The first answer from their side came in 1-2 days with a proposal to get back to the point of purchase and exchange it. I have explained that is not possible as Zurich is a place which I pass by every 3-4 years. they have asked me once again what was the exact EAN code and particularities of the product which I gladly gave them on the 1 of September 2017, since then I have absolutely no information what is happening with my complaint. I am sending an e-mail once every week and get absolutely no answer. Today is 11th of October 2017. So I would definitely recommend Against buying Moleskin! Absolute Lack of customer service. Absolutely no answer. Quality which is worsening every consecutive year!
Have that in mind... there are so may better notebooks out there on the market!
We ordered our Moleskine's for Christmas presents, and was sent someone else's order. With their name printed on the front. Initial call was Monday, it's now Friday and nowhere close to resolution. Every time we email customer service (that's what we are told to do) then call to follow up on the progress. The customer service person tells us, I see your email and will forward it to "the office". This was Monday evening. Called today and customer service said your has shipped. The original order! Then he understood after reading the notes. He said he could email "the office" and get direction, but he couldn't do anything. We asked for the office number and he said he didn't have it and could only email. "The Office" holds all the cards and customer service runs interference and is nothing more than email forwarders. This is not the customer service I expect from Moleskine.
