90y dad held hostage since hospitalised 17.2.21, with no access to me, his next of kin, since 10.5.21! Despite revoking suspended dentist Monica Bijlani’s Lasting Power of Attorney 18.12.20 for her financial fraud on him since 2018, which has still not been investigated.

His MP’s letter 19.5.21 for an independent advocate has been ignored by Liz Bruce, Director of Social Care in Richmond, Uk

Good evening I have been a patient of Dr Bijlani for many years her dentistry is amazing along with her professionalism .
I have recommended her many times to all my friends and all have been very happy

I recently had my dental examination and cleaning with x-ray done with Dr Monica Bijlani. I must say she was exceptionally gentle, caring and professional.
I would highly recommend her to anyone needing first class dental treatment.
It appears that the negative review maybe as a result family misunderstanding which should be settled within the family.
Therefore, this personal attack on Dr. Monica Bijlani in public forum is unwarranted.

Dr Monica has been my dentist for more than 20 years. She always brings not just highly skilled, professional clinical excellence, using the most advanced treatment techniques and technology, but also a deeply caring considerate approach her patients and takes an interest in their wider wellbeing. I have no hesitation in recommending her services to anyone as I have done many times in the past.

Dr Monica Bijlani has been my dentist for more than 8 years, both under a corporate dental plan and private use. In all cases, I have found her to be very professional, experienced and quite frankly non pretentious, straight talking with abundance of integrity and humility. Highly recommend. JN

I never thought I’d find a friend in my dentist. Dr Monica is just great. She goes far and beyond to ensure not only is her patients physical health is good, but also mental health. Her advise is so accurate and life changing. She’s such a kind hearted person and has always accommodated me even when I’ve had to book her last minute. I’ve had gum problems for a few years and her brushing technique has changed my life honestly. Thank you soo much.

Dr Monica is caring gentle dentist who explains everything with options before treatment. Very satisfied with the shade matching as well as with the overall results. All done with high tech 3D printing in a single visit. Specially very clean environment with lots of extra equipment to keep you Covid safe!

Dr Monica has all the qualities of a great Doctor in general and Dentist in particular. She puts you at ease as soon as you recline in the treatment chair. Very thorough professional taking a lot of effort to understand what the problem is and thereafter explaining what how she is going to fix the problem. And she does fix the issue. I have been Monica’s patient for nearly 20 years and have been happy with all treatment I have received from routine visits to root canal treatment! Monica is always very aware if I’m in discomfort and will check throughout treatment if I’m uncomfortable or if I need a break. Going to the dentist can be a scary thing so I’m glad I don’t have to freak out when seeing Monica. I have been taking my daughter to see Monica since she was a toddler (now 15) and she is totally comfortable every time we see Monica and as a result of regular visits she has had few problems and am sure she will carry on seeing Monica for years to come as will I.

Dr Bijlani always fixes my teeth in the best way with the most modern techniques which I haven't seen elsewhere. She is always super fast and efficient and calms my nerves. I totally recommend her.

Dr. Monica is the best dentist i have ever had, I have a fear of things getting near my teeth but she puts me at ease pretty quickly, explaining everything she is doing in layman’s terms. She is very thorough, professional, efficient and communicative throughout the procedure.She has a decent setup with state of the art equipment, nothing is ever too much for her. I am extremely happy with my experiences this far and I would highly recommend Dr. Monica!!

Rude, unprofessional and is harassing me. She also threatened me for sharing my experience online. You only need to look at other posts on here to see what kind of a person she really is. My personal opinion is stay away from this person at all costs. I trained as a dentist myself and judging by the other comments on here she displays constant and deliberate neglect and in some cases I have read online actually has irreversibly harmed the patient by destroying their teeth. I do not think in my opinion that Monica is safe let alone good quality!

It's about time i voiced my experience of visiting Monica last summer. I had previously been to see her for Groupon veneers and had gotten on well. I had been through a tough personal experience and had been saving to treat myself through fixing my front teeth with someone i had deemed a great dentist. Sadly, this time was completely different and overall a horrible experience.

The main points from this meeting were:
- On arrival, she seemed in a foul mood and immediately scolded me as if I were a child, because of the receptionist's error with directions.
- Taking the history she continued to speak to me as if i were speaking gibberish, very dismissive and rude. She did not allow me to explain anything without aggressively interrupting, and as a result kept misinterpreting me and then not listening when trying to clarify. I wondered whether I should leave.
- She continually complained about my teeth, making me feel like I was to blame for her having to do her job. She aggressively responded and referred to me as "sweetie" constantly.
- When she had my teeth ground down and ready for the veneers, she demanded I pay for the treatment to save time, and the cost was £350 dearer than quoted before coming. I was not in a position to say no.
- During this time I finally got to ask her some questions, and the replies were something along the lines of "well it's too late now sweetie", and "I don't know what you're talking about sweetie, you're talking nonsense".
- She fitted the veneers and showed me, unfortunately they looked nothing like what she had previously shown me on the computer screen. She then resentfully went about convincing me and going ahead anyway. She ranted about receiving bad reviews and of an old woman who she felt had unrealistic expectations but it would seem had no problems giving her a service fully knowing that the results could not be achieved. Pretty unprofessional to be saying this to me.
- She disturbingly continued to ground down my bottom teeth quite a lot despite me asking her to stop. They are much smaller than before.
- The finished result was absolutely not what i had come for, one tooth in particular had been installed crookedly, and Monica ground it down to try to make it look straighter, destroying the expensive 'glazing' I had paid for.
- She now had another patient waiting and continued to be dismissive and i felt I was a nuisance being there.
- I realised a few days later I have no front bite, my diction was badly affected, and due to the teeth being poorly finished, was unable to floss as the floss would just cut. Surprisingly, Monica sent me an email looking for me to leave a glowing review.

I wrote to Monica a few weeks later as wanted to see if i could get used to the changes to my diction etc. and in fairness to her she agreed to replace one of the two veneers installed but wanted me to pay for glazing on the tooth £50. Subsequent attempts to arrange an appointment were unsuccessful. I regret visiting Monica and losing so much money. I recently visited another dentist for a quote to fix what Monica did and they were in agreement the veneers had been poorly installed.

I was disappointed with the dental treatment, but I would have let that go and returned only for how horrible this person was to me on the day. She was dismissive, aggressive, and abusive and I would not recommend anyone to visit her on that basis. I think Monica is probably a skilled dentist but she appears to have traded ethics for cash; hopefully this review will help Monica to realise things need to change.

Update June 22 . This Dentist Has been suspended for two years by the GDC, General Dental Council, as it's been proved she is a risk to the public , check her name out on the GDC's website. for full details. The case against her for not having the correct insurance is also still on going.

I WOULD AVOID THIS "DR " I had "implants "done by this Dentist which then fell out within a few months !!!! ! the GENERAL DENTAL COUNCIL UK ( check it out ) have since reprimanded her once after i raised my issues and again in late 2019 so TWICE !!!!, that should set alarms bells off to anyone .! She did not have proper/ valid insurance in place at the time she did my implants , she also deliberately tried to hold up the legal case, changing insurer and Solicitors asking for more time stalling as she did with the GDC inquest. It's taken nearly 2 and half years and it is my intention now to take direct action to warn others outside her Clinic as she has never ever offered any compensation for her total lack of professionalism for the work she charged for. I had a cleansing and polishing at Dr Monica’s Dental practice followed by a laser Whitening treatment and not only she made me feel so comfortable it was done very fast the best whitening treatment I have ever done without any sensitivity after I will highly recommend dr Monica I can’t wait to be back and finish fixing my smile with her !
