Another excellent job carried out by Rob’s team. They cut and trimmed trees and shrubs in front and back gardens leaving both areas neat clean and tidy.

Dreadful customer service.
Booked an appointment 11 months in advance that was confirmed twice in the days leading up to the appointment.
I accepted the quote for £350 +Vat a couple of days before appointment.
However failed to turn up.

I emailed, left voice mails, texted, what's app'd and messaged through Instagram, but heard nothing.
Eventually I get a short email, with no apology bizarrely saying they no longer do cash jobs.
Quite incredible.

I get the impression they only do work for companies and not private work which is fine, but don't accept and confirm jobs if you don't want to do them.

Can’t believe they transformed my father’s overgrown jungle of a garden into a lovely, clear space that a family will be able to enjoy in future. Tree stumps, shrubs and weeds all removed, a new lawn put in place. Rob came and watered the new lawn at the weekend after it was laid, as I wasn’t available to do it myself. An excellent service at an astonishingly good price. Couldn’t recommend anyone more

Montrose were called out by my Insurance company following storm damage caused by a falling tree recently. Office staff were professional and phoned me back concerning my availability. Staff that arrived on the day were friendly and professional and incredibly tidy. My deck and garden were covered with debris. After the crew left there was not even any chain saw dust or the odd twig left in the garden or outside my property where their truck was. Very impressive.

Good family run company. Fair price and work carried out efficiently. All mess tidied up properly. Would recommend.

Montrose knew what they were doing and were helpful form the off. I didn't know the trees I wanted taken down had Tree Protection Orders, Montrose checked that and negotiated with the local council to get them cut back at least. They looked after the bureaucracy and I got more light in the garden.
Very efficient and professional during the cut. Took all the offcuts away and left my drive clean.

Excellent professional service to remove our birch and rowan, sadly victims of honey fungus. All smoothly done and given some innovative ideas for remaining stumps. Also advice about living willow hedging which we hope to action with them soon. Highly recommended.

Montrose Trees we’re fabulous. Very knowledgeable and helped us with dealing with the council regarding a huge Walnut tree in our back garden with a preservation order on it. The tree was in bad shape and with the help of Montrose managed to get the council to agree for it to be taken down. Montrose did this in a morning and what a brilliant job they did. From a 90ft part rotted tree to nothing in a few hours. You wouldn’t even know it had been there.

I have used Robert and his team twice. They are good listeners and did exactly what I asked them to do. They cut my trees and large shrubs, checking with me if they felt things should be left or cut back harder. They cleared up well and were very pleasant and efficient to deal with.

Very pleased. Did such an excellent job on our two mature ash trees we've had them back to cut trees in back garden and shape bushes. We will be having them back again. Polite, well informed and tidied up beautifully. Nothing too much trouble and very competitively priced
