We're a leading Care and Support Provider in the Yorkshire and Humber regions, specialising in supporting autistic people, people with a learning disability and people who need support with their mental health. We support over 50 people in their own homes. We empower people to make their own choices and have control over their lives. Our Moorview Care Family is ever-expanding, and we have grown our portfolio of houses organically over the years - now with 17 locations across Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington & Hull. Despite our unprecedented growth, we still maintain our family feel, and our family values are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on the high-quality, person-centred support that we deliver around the clock. We have an “Outstanding” rating from CQC for our services in Whitby & Scarborough and a “Good” rating for Bridlington & Hull. We are committed to continuous improvement and collect regular feedback to ensure we are on the right track. We consider that the people we support and our team are all part of "The Moorview Care Family", and we always check that the support we provide would be what we would want for our own mum, dad, brother or sister. We trust each other, and that trust has grown out of 25 years of dedicated support. Our support team are trained to empower people to live the kind of life they want to live. We do this through a compassionate, respectful and curious approach. We strive to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, and pride ourselves in leading the way to a more inclusive future. At Moorview Care, we believe the people we support should be at the heart of everything we do and our award-winning co-production group, 'Moorview Matters', is proof of this. We recognise that we are stronger together and by listening to the views of the people we support, we will continue to learn, grow and develop ensuring that the services we provide are wanted and needed. We believe that great support starts with great relationships. Our dedicated team takes the time to get to know each person we support, ensuring that care plans are tailored to their preferences, interests, and goals. Whether it's building confidence in daily life, accessing the places and activities they love, or developing new skills, we work closely with people and their families to create a supportive and enriching environment. The majority of the care and support we provide is known as Supported Living, or community support, which both focus on supporting people to live in their own home, either on their own or with others. We work in partnership with various housing providers to provide highly personalised, safe, creative and tailored environments where the people we support can develop their social, communication and life skills to enable them to live a more independent life including education and employment opportunities. We base our support around each person's dreams and aspirations and always with a focus on improving the individuals quality of life.
