I have a fresh and clean home!

My Cleaner was fantastic! She was booked for 3 hours and completely cleaned and freshened up my small, 2 bedroom house. She found and removed dust, cobwebs etc. and left my house immaculate. I only had to point her in the direction of my cleaning products and supply her with a hoover and a bucket and mop - she was amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Fast, friendly and good customer service

I'm very happy with the one off clean Mopp carried out. They were able to make a last minute change to the booking and the cleaner was thorough and hard working. I'll use again.

The most APPALLING experience ever

Our experience with mopp.com over the last 2 months was just INCREDIBLE. Our anger and utter disbelief is quite hard to express in words -- but here's our story:

We arranged our first clean with Mopp for a Saturday morning in early May. On Friday evening, while still at work, I got a call from Mopp, telling me that the cleaner was 'running late' for her clean at 5pm! I reminded them that the booking had been done for Saturday -- needless to say, they were unable to correct their mistake. The clean eventually happened on the Sunday.

Aisha, the cleaner, did a very good job. So we decided to book a regular bi-weekly clean from her.

The earliest available date was 3 weeks in the future -- since we liked Aisha's work we decided to wait and booked for Saturday 7 June. On the Friday we called them up because we didn't get the 24-hour confirmation email. To our astonishment we were told that they didn't have a booking on their system for us.

We were told the next available date would be the 14 June (the date of this review). We decided to give them another chance and booked for 10am on the 14th. However, we asked them to immediately confirm the booking via email, which they did.

Needless to say, the cleaner didn't arrive this morning. At 10.20 we called up Mopp and asked what was going on. Grace, one of their customer service advisors professed to be 'mortified' to have to tell us that there was no booking for us. We gave her the booking ID from our confirmation email. Grace told us that that booking ID didn't exist on their system, saying that it was probably due to a 'technical fault'.

Totally enraged by now we asked her for a complimentary clean to make up for all our troubles. She agreed to that and said she could guarantee that she would send someone the next day (tomorrow) -- even though it might not be Aisha. We agreed to that. Half an hour ago we had another call from Grace saying that she wasn't able to find someone to do the clean, and whether Monday evening might work instead; she would give us '50% off' the clean.

So we had to remind her that she had previously offered us a free clean, to which she said 'oh you're right, I did'.

If we were stupid we would agree to the free clean on Monday, which would of course never happen, due to either a 'technical fault' or a non-existent booking, or whatever else they might dream up.

But here's where it ends for us. Our experience with Mopp has been so utterly disgusting that we won't even book a free clean with them.

Steer clear of them. They clearly have no clue of how to provide a proper service, so you'll just waste your energy like we did.

LET DOWN TWO WEEKS IN A ROW

What disgusting service!!

Booked my first clean for last Friday. At the last minute was cancelled - and when I phoned was PROMISED that next Friday - today - they would without fail be here.

Well needless to say, no phone call but a cowardly email saying cancelling again this morning.

Why advertise if you cannot supply?

I have given my credit card details - so is this a fraudulent company ?

Trying to contact them with no luck today as I am very worried about this company

Rather clean the house yourself then go through this aggravation with MOPP.

Do not trust.

Clueless cleaner left home a mess and Mopp unsupportive

I was very disappointed with Mopp. They sent a young man from Indonesia who not only spoke little English, but had clearly never cleaned a home before. My husband patiently explained the need for soap on oil stains in the kitchen, but when we came home to find the bathrooms dripping in water everywhere - with water stains on every tap and mirror - we decided we couldn't be responsible for his entire training.
Mopp clearly does not vet its staff, but is large enough not to care. When I complained, and threatened to cancel my contract, they were happy to cancel my contract immediatey and made no attempt to make amends. I'm glad to be rid of them and their dubious business model.

the cleaner trashed my flat on the first visit and Mopp refused to pay for the damage

I was sent a cleaner and on her first visit she chipped the enamel in my bath, broke the dishwasher and put washing up liquid in it so there was foam all over the floor, damaged the new paintwork in the lounge, cleaned the oven with fabric conditioner and left marks all over my new dining table. Despite sending photos of the damage and getting quotes for the repairs Mopp refused to pay for the damage to be sorted out and refused to believe that I was telling the truth. I would strongly advise people not to use them.

Great service!

I used mopp.com for the first time and they were amazing I would definitely be using them again. It was easy to book, the cleaner arrived and did an amazing job - three hours to clean the whole of our apartment into the oven! Really good value for money highly recommend it.
