This was our first trip to Marocco. It was a great experience being guided through this incredibly diverse country by Anir. We will be back.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 7 and 10. We just got back to Marrakech after an epic trip that was put together by Anir for us.

From the minute we contacted him from the UK via WhatsApp, Anir was responsive, helpful and so flexible!

This was our first adventure holiday with the kids and to say it was incredible from start to finish would be an understatement.

We asked him to book our accommodation for us and it was a perfect mix of comfort and experience. 3 of us are vegetarians and we ate so well in a places ranging from a family home to a grand hotel.

With Anir, we got so much more than a driver/guide... we made a friend and the kids found a "fun uncle" always happy to indulge them in games, races and riddles!

We honestly couldn't recommend him highly enough for his help in planning and executing this trip full of memories that will last us all a lifetime.

We will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful country and it's amazing culture and people with Anir.

Today we did a hike with Anir and is was perfect every minute. He was making sure my mom didn’t get scared and helped her along some trickier parts. He told us many interesting stories about his people and the countryside. Anir feels like an old friend pretty much from the moment you meet him. He also offers longer tours for which we‘ll definitely come back. (Best addition: he brings good coffee and takes amazing pictures!)

Anir at Morocco Exposure was an amazing guide, along with his fluffy companion Atlas. Morocco Exposure completely customized a trip just for me, with everything I loved. Anir was very knowledgeable about the country and culture, and took me to all the must see tourist destinations, as well as breath taking hidden gems. I was fully submerged in the culture, and I belive this is an experience that is unique to Morocco Exposure. Every small detail of my trip was handled by Anir, and all I had to do was get off the plane and enjoy the most amazing trip I have ever been on.

Such a unique experience I had when I traveled with Anir from Morocco exposure. The trip was totally customized to my liking. Off the beaten track we traveled from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, Dades Gorge, Rosé valley, Oasis de Fint, Imilchil, Boumalne Dades. We hiked, camped & meditated in nature and slept under the stars. Visited Berber nomads who still live in caves and cooked tajines in the wild. A trip to never forget!

Without doubt one of our most memorable family holidays.

Once we decided our next family holiday would be a tour of Morocco, we began our research or tour guides, via trip advisor.

We contacted 15 tour companies in total.
10 responded within 30 mins with the same generic 16-day itinerary.
3 responded a few days later with the same generic 16-day itinerary.
1 Didn’t respond.
And the final one, Morocco Exposure sent me an email requesting my phone number……………….

This was my first interaction with Anir Bastos the owner of Morocco Exposure.
Over the next few days Anir asked questions about who was traveling, what we wanted from the holiday, what our interests where, what we didn’t like and if we had any other special requirements.

From the information he obtained by taking time to understand our needs, he formulated 2 itineraries within 24 hours for us to discuss. With his assistance and knowledge, we created a bespoke itinerary for a family of four with 2 children under the age of 10 that catered for all our needs, allowing us to see what we wanted and spending enough time in each place not to feel rushed.

The above may seem like a generic itinerary but what we saw when we are there and the places, we stopped at in between were nothing less than spectacular. Our route and timing allowed us to beat the crowds and heat at the touristic places. We saw so many authentic things off the beaten track that most tourists and tour guides, don’t go to or don’t know about.

We met local and nomad’s families, we had a barbecue on the bank of a river in a gauge, we hiked a mountain, rode camels, quadbikes, Sandboards,

Anir is Amazigh, descendant of the pre-Arab inhabitants of North Africa, commonly known as a Berber. The English translation is Free. This is the word the describes Anir the best.

His knowledge of the history of Morocco, Imazighen people, the early history of Morocco, conversion to Islam, The various Dynasty between 788 – 1911, Under Colonial Powers, Independence, emigration and finally Morocco today.

His passion for the environment and equality was truly refreshing.

He was always on time, provided the best advice for Riads, hotels, food, and shopping. He was amazing with all the family.

Morocco is an amazing place. If you decided to use Anir from Morocco Exposure Morocco will always heave a special place in your heart.
