Arrogant and Unprofessional Company

Arrogant and Unprofessional Company – Avoid Motorflog!
I won a car from Synetiq, sold by Motorflog, and paid all charges on time. Their invoice stated opening hours as 09:00–16:00, and my driver had a 10:00 AM collection slot. He arrived slightly early at 09:00, but there was no staff present — they only opened at 10:00 AM, even though this was not mentioned anywhere on their invoice or signage.
The driver, frustrated with the misinformation, left a negative review about his experience. Instead of taking responsibility, Motorflog suspended my account and demanded that I contact the driver to remove his review before they would unblock me. Their staff were rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional in every conversation I had with them.
My account has now been unfairly suspended for over a year, and Synetiq has done nothing to help. They simply pushed me back to Motorflog, which shows how poor their customer support is too.
Motorflog clearly does not care about customers, treats people with disrespect, and handles feedback like a personal attack. I strongly warn anyone considering doing business with them — avoid Motorflog at all costs!

Terrible business

Terrible business. BANDITS!

They wipe error codes and worst of all, EML lights from the dashboard warning system. Soon as you drive the car for 5 minutes, the EML light will come back on as the problem hasn't being fixed. Just hidden for any poor person that thinks they are getting anything of quality from these lot.

They are jokers, talk like they know it all and really there just little con artists.

Like any auction, they use the excuse of when we looked at it... it was fine. Doesn't matter you have driven 100 yards and the cars smoking because its not with us anymore. Your problem.

That is their get out clause. It is ok when honest auction vendors do it because things can happen with cars but motorflog... its nearly every car they sell this happens.

AVOID

Motorhog used to be a scrap yard

Motorhog used to be a scrap yard, and a better one before Motorhog took it over, it's now only holding scrap vehicles at cooper Bridge, Mirfield, Huddersfield way, so don't waste your time going as there is a sign on the door saying no parts and have to go to Doncaster, this place all went wrong when Motorhog took over, as you could never get through to Doncaster to get spare parts. So tried it again today to be told it only holds the vehicles, the frustrating thing about this is that I saw my van in full view on one off their shelves, and needed a part off it, but no you have to go through Doncaster which you can't get through. This company is a shambles, and always has been since Motorhog took over. It was far better as a scrap yard for parts, before Motorhog took over, as you could at one time walk in, and take the parts there and then. So wasted journey today!!!! So be warned, Don't go to cooper Bridge, Motorhog, Mirfield, Huddersfield way, waste of time!!!!

5***** Service

Absolute brilliant service from start to finish. Hassle free way to sell your car. Called a few weeks back and spoke to a lovely lady in the office by the name of Tiffany, was offered good value for the car, so I accepted the offer and was given a date for collection.
On the day of collection was given a courtesy call 20 mins prior to arrival from a lovely chap by the name of Glyn. Absolute top bloke with brilliant banter, went through everything with me for the transaction of the sale from start to finish. Very happy, straight forward service and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick easy sale. Even came to my doorstep and collected my car for free. Just sit back, relax and let Motor Hog do everything for you. Very reputable company and first class customer service. 5***** (",)

Wrong info...Thieves end of the day

Wrong info...Thieves end of the day. Advertising car as a cat N when it's Cat B!
Hpi showed it was written off as Cat B. When I used the live chat feature I was told twice to email customer service. Not once did they say they were going to put the auction on hold even though people were bidding for it and bidding would close in an hour. So anyone who ends up with the Audi reg MM64BTZ TAKE IT BACK TO THEM!

I sold my car this morning

I sold my car for £365 this morning. The price stayed the same and the gentleman that collected it was really kind and friendly. He was patient and even rung me 20 minutes before he got to us. All the paperwork was easy to fill in and was just a really easy process. Thank you so much Motorhog. I’ve also done a couple on LIVE CHAT’S which the lady did her best to help both times. Thank you. Will happily use again.

Motorhog are also known as syntiq…

Motorhog are also known as syntiq auctions they have changed their name with the amount of ccj against this company and also if you look at syntiq auctions reviews on trust pilot you will understand where I am coming from . They are a bunch of crooks and fraudsters running these auctions firstly the way they operate there online auctions they have their own private bidders you can not see on line who they are cuz they don’t have a bidding number or name so that’s why it is dodgy and a fraud other auctions on site you can see who the bidders are this one you can’t as it is definitely a fraud . Secondly on trust pilot reviews they leave their own reviews to make out the company is good that’s all and a total lie don’t believe them at all as they are fraudsters

Sold my car to Motorhog April 2021.

Sold my car to Motorhog April 2021.

Initial online chat proved fruitless, as the assistant just stopped replying, hence knocking a star off this review.

Because my car was damaged I couldn't get an automated quote but received a text a few days later with an offer that was more than any other local dealer offered.

Arranging pickup was easy, and I got the full amount quoted. The money was transferred after 24 WORKING hours, so I had to wait over the weekend.

Overall it was an easy, positive experience! Would certainly sell to again if I had to!
