We made an appointment with Erwin Hymer travelworld and from the moment we arrived we were most impressed we were greeted by Ryan who I must say was most helpful and very professional. We chose the motorhome and Ryan made our experience a pleasure. The showroom is fantastic and all of the staff were very polite and helpful.

Good sales experience through to sale, not so good follow-up. Had an alarm issue (still have) and not seen through to conclusion. Felt a bit like we'd spent our money and very quickly just became part of a data base. Did expect a call from sales a month or so in to see how it was all going, but nothing. Overall it has left us a bit disappointed we did not shop around more. Advantage for us is it's close to home. Perhaps if someone reads this I'll get a call. If I don't, that probably crystalises our concerns. Love the Hymer MLT 570 though. I'd love it even a bit more if between Scorpion and dealer, they could sort the alarm! And, as stated in the reply by the dealer - I’ve never been on a ferry with the MLT! It simply goes off on my drive if fully set and not connected to mains. If it had been a ferry, I’d have understood!

Having read the dealer’s reply to my review, I would point out that I was positive about the product (I’d I’ve not been in a ferry with the MLT) . I also said there had been no sales or general follow up to see how things were going (even aside from the alarm issue) - just a general call from the sales person would have been nice after spending £155k. Scorpion told me they were coordinating with the dealer and I left that to happen. Scorpion did come out and did not fix the issue, they sent out a new unit and I have been chasing them but nothing has happened. I would have expected a dealer knowing of the issue to follow up with me to ensure satisfaction - and they now have which is appreciated.
My 3 star rating was much more about sales not following up as a general courtesy - but through the follow up I have upped to 4 star.
As I say, I love the MLT and I’m glad we are back on track with an appointment booked in.

Purchasing a new motorhome from Travelworld has been a very pleasurable experience, largely due to Ryan in particular. He offered excellent advice before and after we placed the order, and his communication throughout the process has been fantastic. We did have a small issue that was dealt with effectively and efficiently by the service team, and all the other staff we have dealt with have been friendly, helpful and very professional.

We recently purchased our Hymer T780 - Blackline motorhome and had the pleasure of dealing with Simon throughout the process. From our first enquiry to handover, Simon was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.

Ryan was absolutely fantastic throughout the seven month process, advising us all the way, keeping us up to speed with progress, and responding to our many questions. We can’t rate him highly enough. The handover process on the day was great and all members of staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

I recently wrote a review of the Sales Service provided by Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld. I was critical of the attitude towards customers. I am happy to report I have been contacted by Jake who offered a heartfelt apology and has proposed a remedy for my complaint. I am hoping from this point that my purchase will be a better experience

We purchased our 2nd motorhome from Travelworld 9 years ago, throughout that period we’ve had our motorhome serviced at Travelworld and benefitted from the extensive range of expertise within the department. We took the option of taking out the motorhome labour & faulty replacement parts insurance, this has given us 9 years of worry free motorhoming. The motorhome still runs & looks virtually like new. Special thanks to Mollie for her friendly helpful advice and organising our recent mechanical repair.

After a very frustrating experience with ongoing issues and poor customer service elsewhere relating to my Hymer MLT 570 Crossover, it was a real relief to deal with Travel World.

From the outset, their team were professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to listen properly to the problems I’d been experiencing and approached everything with a clear willingness to resolve the issues — not just patch them up.

The warranty work was carried out to a high standard, and, importantly, communication throughout the process was excellent. I was kept informed at each stage, which made a big difference after previous experiences where this simply didn’t happen.

What stood out most was their attitude — polite, respectful, and proactive. It felt like they actually cared about both the vehicle and the customer, which shouldn’t be rare, but unfortunately often is.

Travel World is the first dealer I’ve dealt with who has restored some confidence in the ownership experience of this motorhome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and will happily return in the future.

We had an issue with our water pump on our Campervan we had bought a couple of weeks earlier. Rang Travelworld on Monday afternoon and after a couple of checks they booked me in for the next day. Turned up at 9am and had a new pump fitted and van cleaned by 11! Whilst there great service from all the staff, especially the receptionist and Rae in Service. Great after sales service which meant we have not had to cancel plans for the following weekend.

Purchased motor home from Adrian. Very professional, explained everything very clearly. Motorhome ready on time, very good hand over. Liked the buying process it felt very secure. Would buy from Adrian at Hymer again.

My experience with Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld was extremely disappointing and fell well below what I would expect from a major dealer. Communication was consistently poor — emails and calls often went unanswered for days,
Even after withdrawing, it took over a week for my £15,000 holding deposit to be refunded, which is unacceptable for a business of this size. Throughout the process, there was very little proactive communication or transparency.
I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution, ensure all terms are confirmed in writing, and clarify refund timelines before paying any large deposits.
The motorhome home we put a deposit on was subject to viewing. We decided this wasn't the one for us leaving me with no choice but to cancel my order. I notified them 1st thing on Monday morning via a phone call then an email as requested. 7 days later no refund or confirmation.

I must say that we have recently experienced the very best care so far!!
Right from initial telephone calls, to booking in and to onsite repairs. Excellent is a word that I rarely use, but praise where praise is due. Special thanks to Rae and James for their enthusiasm, care and attention to detail.
