Get an independent inspection….!!

I had high hopes of this used vehicle company but sadly they turned out to be not good at all.
Showroom was great, staff attentive and helpful, that is until after I had collected and paid for the car, then discovered the issues with it….. that’s where it went down hill fast…...My calls weren’t returned and they just went silent. No help, no interest. I have had to spend over £1000 to get the defects with the car rectified. I would say that one of which was quite dangerous…. Despite them being newly fitted, the front tyres were the cheapest going and incorrect… they had to be extra load and reinforced but the cheap rubbish they had fitted were neither… they had to come straight off….. as did the rears which were winter tyres and only just legal….. BE CAREFUL AND GET ANY VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY INSPECTED. I trusted this company to be honest and supportive… but I was wrong.

Very odd business model

We rang to arrange a viewing of a DS7 and a time was set for 3.30pm, so far so good. We got there a little early but the salesman was free and he got the keys and unlocked the car. Then, bizarrely, he walked away with the keys. Oh well, he'll be back in a bit to let us try things out we thought. We had a good look around and it was in reasonable condition, a few marks and chips, nothing too bad. The salesman then noticed we had finished looking and returned to the car. We like it, can we test drive it we said. Only if you commit to buying it beforehand he said. Well we don't know until we've driven it we replied. Well when you know for sure that you're going to buy it come back here and you can drive it. We will buy a DS7 within the next month but it certainly won't be from Motorline Direct. What a waste of time

Poor dealer etiquette

We viewed and test drove a vehicle and spent nearly three hours at the dealership, including stepping away briefly to discuss the purchase and arrange funds. When we returned, we were informed the car had been sold without any attempt to contact us while we were still nearby and they knew we had travelled with a young baby in tow. A courtesy call would have been appreciated as the bare minimum. We were clearly serious considering the amount of time we spent inspecting the car again after driving it. Had they of called us with first refusal we’d have told them we were returning to purchase. Simply rude and poor dealer etiquette.

Do not buy the BMW 2 series active…

Do not buy the BMW 2 series active coupe! Head gasket has creamy watery liquid instead of black oil. The salesman Gary Marson didn't seem shocked once we discovered it and didn't help us at all after this. We said we would find something else. He never apologised for the inconvenience and offered no further help. A colleague of his asked us if we needed assistance... we asked to look at another car which she then unlocked with the key and walked off. We couldn't access the driver side door so decided to leave as the customer service was absolutely awful. Brought a lovely B class from another dealership close by.

Kuga

Collected my new car today, Gary made it so easy and straightforward, nothing was to much trouble, really nice guy.

As a returning customer I wouldn't trust any other company.

Huge thank you Gary

DO NOT TRUST

DO NOT TRUST! -
I bought a Maserati from this car showroom. Their warranty and senior sales staff LIE to your face do NOT trust them!
I have obtained proof from Maserati in writing about the fault in the car yet they have still refused to rectify the fault in their warranty
