MrD Uses Horrible Tatcics to Trick Customers with Fake Promo Codes

I have now tried multiple times to order using the "Promo" codes they give in the app. They expect you to insert the code right at the end after you have added items to your cart. Final step when you want to put in the promo code it syays "Maximum Usage" - They do not disclose that there is a limmited amount of vouchers where they advertise the discount. What a horrible way to trick your customers into thinking they will be getting a discount on your inflated prices. Avoid MrD and rather use Uber Eats or even better, order directly from the restaurant if possible.

Order-DFD216735364 never got delivered. When asked for a refund of R662,85 I'm told the driver was at my place and could not get hold of me. So he left with my order? I have cameras in front of my place showing he was never at my place. Mr. D refuses to refund me. Do I open a theft case? I still paid for the items that I never received. When we phoned, we are told it's our responsibility to make sure we get our delivery? Ok, so where is it? In the meantime, I'm out of pocket and desperate.

I'm extremely disappointed

I'm extremely disappointed . I order on Mr D every day on my lunch and today was horrible. I called in their helpline to inform them that I received the wrong order and my request was denied. I tried eating what i received and the dood was horrible. I lost my money and was unable to eat lunch today due to this.

No sense of time, even less customer service!

Placed an order before 07:00 this morning! To be precise 06:49, ETA time provided was for 09:00(witch is fine), its currently 09:55, still no delivery, still no pickup of goods at store. Whatsapp help is useless no help at all, when Phoning line gets cut off with answering. Customer service is as useless as a glass hammer! Pathetic

Mr Delivery DRUNK DRIVER

A drunk Mr Delivery driver drove into our palisade fencing, taking out a whole panel on Thursday night, he then drove away leaving his belongings of Mr Delivery, I reported it with them on Friday and the damages I had to pay out of pocket and still have not heard anything from them, absolutely terrible, my kids are traumatized, very bad

Delivery driver

Our delivery driver drove to the wrong side of town the last time we ordered and stood there for nearly 20 minutes before starting to drive again after phoning the call center and explaining this to them and that we would not be accepting the order due to the concern of food safety and them saying they understand and that they would cancel the order they never did and the driver still showed up quite confrontational I might add because I didn't want to accept the food now I see they have removed my ability to place cash orders yet they are they ones in the wrong their service generally isn't the best and now they do this they must have forgotten that they are not the only delivery service in town.

A fraudulent transaction was done on my mr d food ap. R700 rand for an order that i never placed. There ap security is not secure at all. I do not save my bank details in the ap but yet they managed to use my bank details and order. No one is getting back to me when i contact them they say there is nothing they can do

It was my first and last time using Mr D food.
I thought My food would be delivered but no I have to go and collect. When I got to the restaurant they said that they can't find my order , so I must contact Mr D.

I contact mr d no answer and tried whatsapp the robot keeps giving same options can't get help.
I need my money back no matter what that's my money I need it.

Disappointing Experience with Mr. D's Service

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Mr. D's team. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, I received no response or update on my query. To make matters worse, when their driver finally showed up, he was rude and unprofessional.

The lack of communication and disrespectful behavior from the driver left a sour taste in my mouth. I expect better service from a company like Mr. D's, especially when it comes to basic courtesy and communication.

Until they improve their customer service and driver etiquette, I would not recommend Mr. D's to anyone.

I found a cockroach in my food, and all I got was sorry,
I ordered food again, it takes one hour to deliver etc,
They say they aim to please and if there is a delay they notify us, it’s way pass the delivery time and I still did not get any notification,
Is MrD now run by ANC cause they just as useless

I paid R553 for ribs at Spur

I paid R553 for ribs at Spur, whereas the instore charge is R440. So mr D charges me R113 to place an order, but they do not deliver. If I ordered through Spur the instore specials were R410, so Mr D cost me R143 for nothing! Daylight robbery!

Driver at my food

The driver did not deliver or even arrive at my address. I did not get any notification or call. Then a few minutes later the App showed that the order was delivered. They probably handed the food to a random person or kept the food for themselves because when I contact MrD via WhatsApp for clarification they keep closing the Chat, no one helps. They can't even give me proof that the driver even attempted to deliver or confirm who they handed the food to. Order through this service at your own risk, there is no traceability or accountability if your food disappear. The drivers and the staff are aware of this loop hole and they make use of it very well.
