Good morning. I am uncertain where to begin, but I am exceedingly angry and disappointed. This represents the worst customer service I have encountered in my entire life. The entire team in the admini... See more

Terrible company
Terrible company. No interest in remedial works for fire safety after years of back and forth with the Housing Association.
DATE OF EXPERIENCE 2017.
DATE OF EXPERIENCE 2017.
Pity I had to leave at least one star. Housing Association used this pathetic company, back in 2017, to do their kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. A so called 'designer' came, to plan new kitchen layout. At the time, my kitchen sink was situated in an alcove, under the boiler. There are 2 plumbed water outlets, the other, for a washing machine. I asked the 'designer', if the new sink could be fitted at the other water site, so a full sized draining board could be fitted. The washing machine would then be in the alcove. She INSISTED everything has to go back where it was before (not much 'designing' now, is there). It was at this point, I had to let this imposter know, that I was actually a QUALIFIED interior designer. Certificates to prove it. Her robotic self wouldn't budge, so I told her to just plan for the sink to go in the same place, as I was already fed up with her, and wanted her gone. Work began a few weeks later.
As the plumber was fitting the new sink, a foreman from Mullalley arrived, unscheduled. He asked why the sink was being fitted under the boiler, and instructed the plumber to relocate it to the other water outlet (exactly what I had asked the 'designer' to put in the plan). There was now a delay, as a new sink unit and draining board had to be ordered.
Weeks later, after many non shows for work to continue, THE MOST racist carpenter was finally finishing up the units. Whist he was on a break, I swept out the mountains of debris, which he had left or swept away, under the base units. He came back whilst I was doing this, and gave me THE MOST venomous glare. I left him to finish up, and fit the base plinths. Week 6 (job was meant to take10days), an electrician arrived to fit my new oven. The base of the oven housing had to be removed, to fit my double oven. It was then we saw the ENTIRE roll of paper, the carpenter had unrolled, and stuck under the oven housing. Clearly hoping it would catch fire one day. In all my years, I have never encountered such hated from a workman.
Next came the decorator. I had already sourced the paint for the kitchen. Quality paint. The decorator said they have to paint everywhere magnolia. I asked what the difference was. I told him he could use my (professional) materials if he liked. He had to call the Housing office. After 15mins of debate, after the decorator confirmed that I had the same paint they use, just a different colour, was he able to use my choice of colour. My useless H.O. had asked why I couldn't just repaint it after it gets painted magnolia (such a stupid suggestion). I was so relieved when they had finally finished. They didn't even have the decency to remove the black plastic floor protector in the communal area. That was left for me to do.
To this day, January 2023, not one person has come to inspect the work, upon completion. Neither from Mullalley, or my housing association.
My bathroom was also supposed to be done. A 'plan' was done, then nothing. I rang them several times, over many months, asking when work would commence. 'You're on the list', was always their response. The last time I called, this pathetic excuse of a construction company, I was told 'all our works for this particular housing association, have been completed. No doubt they have been paid to do my bathroom, when they actually haven't touched it. That, or they lost the contract through sheer incompetence.
Deal with this cowboy firm at your risk. Look at their reviews.
Lairs that did not turn up to booked appointment
Had and appointment for 20/12/2022 between 08:00 and 12:00 and nobody turned up. I was told to call by 10:00 if nobody turned up by then. I was assured that someone was coming. 12:30 i called them again but this time i was told that they had turned up but nobody was at home. An absolute lie. I have a ring doorbell and ring stick up camera and. 100% sure that nobody attended my property. The site manager is useless. Avoid them if you can.
Had a good experience with mulalley…
Had a good experience with mulalley while they were refurbishing our estate. Site manager Allan was friendly and one of the workmen phil was always helpful and professional. Overall had a pleasant experience with mulalley. would not recommend the roofing company they used rc roofing
I'd avoid hiring Mulalley, purchasing from one of their builds or letting them get involved with development in your community
Mulalley seem to use a lot of outside contractors so you can't be sure of consistency when it comes to quality. They seem to pass the blame onto the contractors, in order to give the appearance that it's not their fault... but obviously the buck stops with them. They have had a total lack of respect when dealing with local residents, not to mention taking ages to do a build which shouldn't have taken that long. (2 years for a 6month build). They have left local roads littered with debris and either ignore or misunderstand instructions by the council to post the correct HSE signage. I'd avoid hiring them, purchasing from one of their builds and/or letting them get involved with development in your community.
Wasn't my dream ,but average
This company is currently replacing the…
This company is currently replacing the front doors in my block of flats. Some of the workers and the staff are rude, they swear non stop, smoke in the doorways and harass the residents intercoms to be let in and when you politely tell them that you're not allowed to buzz in ppl you don't know; they argue with you. I'm a sick woman on my own and they made me feel scared. Also I specifically asked for masks to be worn as I'm extremely vulnerable to covid but neither the workman or the woman filling in the form wore a mask. I would not recommend Mulalley.
Had an appointment with this company…
Had an appointment with this company between 9-1. At 2pm had a feeling they wouldn't show. Spoke with the customer liason officer who hasn't liased until she was chased. Assured the surveyor was on the way as he/she was running late and would be with me soon. Same message given to a few other people. Its just after 5.25pm and my initial feeling seems to have been confirmed. Until now they're a No Show. Now I'm being told they can't contact the surveyor, they're on site etc. Yawn at least use something original. Seem to have total disregard that people have lives. Wasted a whole day waiting in and phoning them. Wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't told not to worry if the surveyor doesn't come as they'll make another appointment. Yeah right, like I'm going to put my life on hold to wait in again for them. If any of this untrue Mulalley I have the appointment letter, witnesses and a voicmail to confirm.
Very bad after sales experience!
I bought a flat constructed by Mulalley and there was leak in my balcony that took a year for the company to fix! After lots of delays and issues with their contractors the leak is fixed but it’s been 4 months since I’ve raised a claim and there’s no official response yet! If you are doing business with them get prepared for lots of ridiculous excuses and delays!
