Medical Negligence and Financial Dishonesty
I have never been so disappointed in a healthcare provider. After a fitting, I was issued a contact lens prescription that is wildly inaccurate. I only asked for my contacts to match my glasses prescription, yet they changed it without cause.I ended up in the hospital and now I have a $400 bill that I have to pay because I ended up with severe vertigo where I was throwing up, couldn't walk and missed days at my job because I was so sick. When I asked for a correction, I was met with excuses about how 'nearsighted contacts are more expensive' and told the prescription was 'fine.' It is not fine; it is unusable. I am out $150 and they are refusing to make it right or provide the correct medical script. I’ve had to escalate this to the State Investigator and my insurance for an appeal. Save your money and your eyesight—go somewhere that actually cares about patient care instead of just taking your money. Scammers and liars
