Great service again. Was under pressure for v/p doors and John was a great help and getting them on site.

Product is exactly what we are looking for and after sales service was exceptional. Only issue was related to delivery company whop delivered the packages separately.

It's always a good experience shopping here and the customer service is genuine. With a call to say that the order has been received, ready to go , and a call to after delivery to see if you are happy with the service. 5 stars

Extremely Disappointed with Product Quality and After-Sales Support

I recently purchased six doors from Kevin at Murphy Larkin, who was very helpful during the sale. Unfortunately, all six doors arrived warped. My carpenter managed to adjust four of them, but the two dining room doors were too badly warped to be repaired.

When I contacted Murphy Larkin, I provided photos — including laser-level evidence clearly showing the warping. I was advised the issue was due to not using three hinges per door, something I’ve never needed in over 20 years. I was also told the doors would “sit better” once the glass was fitted, but even after professional installation, the doors remained visibly warped and do not align properly.

The proposed solution was to replace the doors entirely — at my own cost for repainting, refitting the glass, and hiring a carpenter again. When I raised this with customer service, I was told by a representative named Karen that I should not have installed the doors at all, despite following their prior instructions. Her response was dismissive and unhelpful.

Although a site visit was offered, it was cancelled last minute and communication throughout has been inconsistent. I even requested reimbursement for my carpenter’s additional €150 charge, which was refused.

Overall, the products were not fit for purpose, and the after-sales service has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Murphy Larkin based on this experience.

I am actually starting to feel a bit intimidated by this company. After I wrote my review I was contacted personally by Ger insisting I take the review down. He was then willing to pay the €150 I had been charged by the carpenter. When I said I would think about it he text saying the payment had made and would I take the review down, he then messaged again at 9:35pm on the Friday night asking me to take the review down again. He then tried to ad me on LinkedIn at 11:30pm on the Friday night. It is also lies to say I found the rep very helpful as she was quite the opposite. This is bizarre behaviour in my opinion

I replaced a solid teak door with a new Palladio glass door with sidelights. It made an enormous difference to the light in the house.

Dealing with sales, accounts and installation was a pleasure. It was nice to deal with locals who we pleasant and efficient.

Special call out to Martin for the installation. He visited to measure up firstly, then returned for the installation. He was fantastic and returned the house to a spotless condition. I have unusual stone surrounds on the inside of my doors and he managed to fit the door and replaster so that it matched perfectly.

I will use Murphy Larkin again when I need another new French door at the patio!

I purchased lovely door handles. They arrived in good time. An issue with one of the handles being the wrong colour was quickly resolved and the correct handle arrived in a couple of days. A very good company that followed up with a phone call to make sure the items arrived and were correct. An excellent service

Excellent customer service. Following online order, I received phone call from John confirming receipt of the order and explaining delivery procedure. Following delivery I received phone call to ensure everything was in order. I would have no hesitation in using them again.
