VERY BAD BUSINESS

In May the Muskogee Phoenix had all of their paper carrier's deliver a letter to their customers. Saying that as of June 1st that the paper would no longer be delivered by a carrier. That all papers would now be sent in the mail because the carriers had refused to sign new contracts with them. The truth is that the Muskogee Phoenix refused to renew contracts and canceled all of contracts they had with carriers. So why are they laying the blame on the carriers. A lot of the carriers depended on the money they made from the papers to make ends meet. Because most of them were over sixty years old. I threw the paper for over twenty years and of the last twelve. Ten of which I threw two different papers and there were over four hundred papers to throw everyday. And it took me over sixteen hours to fold, bag and deliver the Black Friday every Thanksgiving. That not counting the time in took to get all those papers home or the two cars full front and back with papers. All I got out of it was two very badly torn shoulders and my trailer paid for. I had to retire two years ago because my shoulders hurt so bad.
