Was going to buy a new hood for my MX5
Was going to buy a new hood for my MX5. Website clearly says price is from £407.88 (inc £67.98 VAT), but then VAT is added at checkout. When queried, I was told it was because I wasn't logged in as UK customer, but actually I was. The price with VAT (£475.86) is actually good, but MX5 Parts weren't straight so I bought a hood from BAS International instead.
Looking at the other 1 star reviews, I feel like I had a taste of poor customer service.

Quite awful
Quite awful. Rude support, mixes up shipping addresses, sends the wrong parts, generally stock the cheapest low quality parts, etc.
I'm sure that 99% of those who order from them will not have any issues, but if you do you're out of luck.

Great service and genuine part
I recently purchased a product from this MX5parts and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I first came across their website through a facebook group when i needed a part.
The ordering process was simple and smooth, and my item arrived within a couple of days. The courier kept me updated throughout.
The product itself is perfect—just as described and exactly what I was expecting. Great service, fast delivery, and excellent communication from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Speedy delivery of genuine part
I had an issue with a roof seal for my MK 3 which was resolved after exchange of photos and emails. The genuine replacement item arrived 24 hours later! Excellent customer service from them.

I made a mistake diagnosing an engine fault on my MX5 NC.
I ordered the wrong parts and informed MX-5 Parts of my mistake and they refunded me fully without any hassle.
I would thoroughly recommend this company for genuine MX5 parts.
Replaced the wrong part - No accountability
I took my NC to MX5Parts expecting expertise, but my experience was disappointing. When my car overheated, they diagnosed a stuck thermostat and replaced it. The issue seemed resolved, likely due to colder weather and motorway driving. However, after a month, my car overheated again—this time due to a blown 30-amp fan fuse.
Upon inspecting the car myself, I discovered a battery hook stuck in the fan, preventing it from operating. This critical check was completely overlooked during their diagnosis. I returned to give them a chance to acknowledge the oversight, but they refused to take responsibility for their mistake.
As MX-5 specialists, I expected a more thorough and accountable approach. Instead, I found myself fixing their negligence. Disappointed and cannot recommend them.
Excellent service

MX5 Parts are saviours
MX5 Parts are saviours - I have a very old MX5 which needed a battery, they not only supplied me with an original Mazda battery but were cheaper than anything offered by 'others'. Amazing price and fabulous service, you couldn't ask for any more.
Thank you MX5 Parts
Can't Fault
Purchased many parts over last eight months for ND2 RF; LED rear lights, lowering springs, spoiler, reverse camera and several smaller items. Delivery has always been within 48 hours, parts were as specified, fitted and worked as described. Pricing very competitive particularly if drop on bank holiday sales. Will be ordering more in future as soon as funds allow.

Once again this year, Mx5 Parts rescued my little buddy, sending vital parts to the mechanic. They have every part for every model of the Mazda MX-5. I cannot rate this supplier highly enough and say a special prayer for them to St Christopher (patron saint of motorists) every time I set off on a long road trip.
