We had a lot of fun with this! I have two little kids and this was a great way to spend our New Year’s Eve. I thought it ended at 10 am on New Year’s Day, so we missed a few of the last announcements/challenges sadly. But other than that we loved it!!!

Love the idea and the flexibility to do the adventures from home. Getting prizes for specific holiday hunts sometimes takes a while, but the monthly family rewards for the main family adventure are very easy to use.

Thank you for the review, Cher! I know getting prizes to you takes us some time because we don't actually have an active community coordinator in your area. Technically, the prizes should be limited to the areas where we have funding (thus, active coordinators), but I hate to leave out any family just because we don't have funding for the area they live in, so I spring for their prizes out of my own pocket. At least for now I've been able to do that. Hopefully we'll have funding for your area soon.
We love this program
My family has had such a fun time doing these activities together, and spending intentional time together. We have especially loved the hunts through the GooseChase app, like the Discovery Family Adventures with Watson and the Happy New Year 2023 hunt we just completed.

They take a lot of time and effort to create and run, and sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it, but then when I hear of even one family that has been impacted and spent some good quality time together and laughed together and learned together through the hunt I am reminded that it is worth it--- and I can keep providing more!

I love the fun ideas for doing things with my family. I wish missions could be bookmarked on the app, though they don't control development of the app so I understand. Anyway, so fun! Also did the '22 Holiday Hunt with Wattson.

Thank you for the review, Aja. As you mentioned, we don't control development of the app, but we will definitely pass your feedback along. Be aware that every mission has suggestions for younger kids. Just search for the '👶' icon within the mission. You can also search for that icon across missions to eliminate any missions that don't have suggestions for younger kids, but there are only 1 or 2, so you'll probably still get pretty much all of the missions.
Note that some of the missions will send you to the website for the PreK suggestions. That's because we are limited to 2,000 characters on the app. That goes really fast, so we often combine with the website, which gives us unlimited characters, to provide all of the different features.

Every family should do this
I love this because we already do a lot of things as a family so we can pass off things, but also it gives us extra ideas of things to do that maybe we wouldn't have thought of. There are fun and unique activities and I think if every family did this it would be great! Family time is so important!

I am so glad to have My Discovery Destination's Summer Passport Program in our family! We have participated in quite a few of their Missions now, and we absolutely adore the fun ideas, educational experiences, and most importantly, motivation behind, these programs! You can tell that those behind it, more than anything else, want to help your family SUCCEED and be closer! That's amazing and we just love them for that.
