Completely not serious people at DPD DE. For 3 different shipments (and last shipment for 2 consecutive days) the courier fakes delivery attempts. We were always waiting the delivery at home, nobody did ring the bell, and suddenly the notification of missed attempt. Once I was even following the position in the app and waiting at the window, and again fake attempts. Simply the courier has no will to work. The problem is that at the customer care they simply don’t care. They cannot even call the driver as they do not know who is driving. Really incompetent people, avoid them

Today I needed to receive my package, in app it was showing that the package is out for delivery-suddenly it said 'we could not find you' even though I set the location to Pick-up Kiosk.
DPD is a joke.

I've had orders that required DPD to send my packages and they NEVER rang my doorbell. I've cancelled plans to stay home and wait for this god forsaken package and I didn't even see the car pull up. Only then did I receive an email at 14:07 that they couldn't reach me.
At this point just disband this company.

I was supposed to receive my package 2 days ago, they never came und now I am seeing in their page that they couldn't find my address.. And at the tracking App from the store, which I ordered, says that my address doesn't exist!! Where am I staying then?? It's the 4th time that I am trying to receive a package from DPD and is the 4th time that I have trouble to receive it. Last time they signed in behalf of me and they said that I received the package, which I never did!!!You can shut it down if you can not have a decent service!!!

This has been my worst delivery experience. I took two days off work to receive my package and never did. I watched the app closely, tracking the remaining stops, only to be told the driver couldn’t find me. The next day I redirected the parcel with the instruction “Front door,” kept monitoring the app, and was told again that my address wasn’t found. I called the hotline and asked them to leave it at a nearby branch; they couldn’t. I even asked for an address so I could pick it up myself—also not possible. What kind of service is that?

It is the third time out of four that something has been sent to me using their service, and I have waited the whole day at home for a delivery, only to see the truck in the application 2 or 3 blocks from my place and suddenly, the status changes saying that they could not reach me (even though I am looking outside the window and there is no DPD truck or person on the whole street).
On top of that, they leave the package 2.5km away from my place, so I need to take an Uber back home when the package is too big.
Please, avoid using them. I haven't met the first person having something positive to say about DPD Germany.

They send my package back because they couldnt deliver it.... it should have been delivered to a parcel shop. How can you mess that up?

My package was supposed to be delivered on 10.10 between 08:24 and 09:24 so I waited at home. At 09:35 I got an email that it could not be delivered even though no one rang my bell. For several days after the website then said that my package was “in delivery” and still supposed to be delivered “today” with the same date of 10.10, and I did not have the option of choosing a pickup shop.

Today, again, the package was supposed to arrive between 08:34 und 09:34 and no one rang the bell. At 09:35, I got an email that the package could not be delivered, so in my desperation I went to the website to change the location to a pickup shop. I then received a email saying that DPD accepted this request.

However, I have just checked the DPD tracking website and it says that my package was rejected and will be going back to the sender. Further, every time I checked the map, the delivery van icon never approached my neighborhood even remotely.

This has been incredibly frustrating, unacceptable, and a waste of my time.

Very very Slow. Horrible delivery drivers and bad Customer Service.

Driver skip my house, and then he made information about parcel: I refuse to take it.
I was waiting from the morning for parcel and watched from house windows, driver never arrived.

Absolute joke of a company, here in Germany. Are you hiring your people by asking: who's willing to the the least possible at their job? Two days in a row lying how they're trying to reach me, for a parcel that doesn't need you to contact me. Just leave it in front of the door, as it said on my profile, as I told you when contacted you. Today another one. Didn't even bother to bring that little paper. Just said, it's waiting for you to pick it up. In a town 11km from me!!! You are a shame. There was no issue, just someone that was lazy and was dealing with the lite parcels, and for a heavy one, I already paid the delivery - I'm driving to get it. On all of my accounts it is going to be written NO DPD. Disgrace

SCAM - Why other business use this service to send our parcels??

Never devliers, says delivered to but you will get notification that is it delivered. Do not waste your time asking your neigbours just report to your sender.

The worse delivery service I had experience to use in germany.
I get notifications that the courier could not reach me out, so I called to the hot line saying, it is not true I am sitting home and waiting for my package, nobody called or left the note in mailbox. They are so sorry the package will be delivered today to the coffee shop they chosen, 15 km from my home. Okay I went to the coffee shop before closing, no package. Calling again DPD, the lady on the phone said Saturday. And she informed me that the courier never reached my city, this what I asked specifically to check his gps because I either I am crazy or he was not here. Today is Saturday, I called DPD because my package is still in the DPD center. The package will not be delivered today (Saturday) it will be on Monday. Okay so I want to deliver the package to my house as courier never tried so I have a right to have my package to deliver to my house as it should be. No, option does not exist only the coffee place 15 km from my house is the option.
They are ridiculous, useless and disappointing. The worse delivery provider in my life.

AVOID - SCAMMERS
If i could give 0 stars i would go for it.
They clearly steal money claims that package was almost twice as declared and charged me tripled amount i already paid (i paid for big package). Unfortunately i had no pictures of this box when i send it… It is still not that big money to ask for lawsuits but i was just scammed and could do nothing about it.
I will avoid this company next time and advice you to do the same.

I was at home and waiting for the parcel but it was redirected to paket pickup shop !!No one rang the doorbell !!
I was continuously tracking the delivery, its 4 stops away from me around 11:50 am and then all of sudden it has been rerouted to pickup shop!!! And I get to know this by an email at 12.04pm.I stayed at home specially during the given time frame just to receive the packet and DPD simply redirected it to the pickup shop ??? This is highly unprofessional .

its not my fault that the delivery guy didn’t even bother to make an attempt of delivery.
There was no Information letter about the pickup details left in the postbox as well. Every forwarder does that.

This simply proves the laziness of Dpd personnel and that no attempt of delivery was even attempted!!

Also, I ahd have raised complaint immediately with DPD but as expected no feedback yet from them…

Please be aware and do not opt for DPD ever. Please use other forwarders which are atleast reliable.

Worst company ever , do not use them

Had two parcels sent with them. Both were mark "refused to accept parcel" even though I was home at both times and no one came to deliver .
Absolute scam

Absolutely the worst delivery service there is. No company should work with them because they are absolutely incompetent. Every time I see the delivery is being made by them, I already know there is going to be an issue.

DPD and Hermes are equally useless. I just know that I have to go pick it up myself or resend it with DHL because of the consistent let downs from these two.
