Better cover for lower cost
The broker whom I had used for many years contacted me to advise that, in his opinion, it was easier to allow my existing policy to “roll forward” and that the significant price increase was simply a reflection of market conditions. I was suspicious that he had done little or no work in reviewing the current market prior to making his recommendation. Coincidentally, I was contacted by Hugo from My Health Protected a few days before I was going to renew my existing policy. Not only was he able to show that I could have obtained a significant decrease in the price proposed by the existing supplier, but he was able to provide a better policy with an alternative supplier at a lower cost. Hugo spent a long time ensuring that I was happy to move to the new insurer and answered any questions that arose. He was also assiduous in following up after the new policy had been incepted. I would thoroughly recommend My Health Protected as a health insurance broker.

It pays to use a reputable broker
My wife and I had been with another health insurance provider for many years, but the premiums offered this year were extortionate. We took independent advice from both Louis and Patrick at My Health Protected, who shopped around for us, saving us around £2,500 covering all our pre existing medical conditions barring one.

Louis was very good in explaining all the details of the policy he recommended and why. Although this was a cold call and I hadn't thought about reviewing my policy it was very easy to get the information his colleague that made the initial call required, he talked me through exactly where to find the information on my existing paperwork, and was happy to just email me the information before a follow up call with Louis to see if I wanted to proceed. There was no hard sell and in the end I ended up more than halving the cost for increased cover.
